Prince Harry reportedly worries Meghan Markle could put their U.K. plans on hold for a big Hollywood deal. A source told RadarOnline that Harry wants to settle in Britain, but Markle still has big career plans. Harry and Markle returned to the U.K. with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in August 2026.

However, according to the source, the family could head back to California for Thanksgiving on November 26. The outlet also claimed Markle has been meeting entertainment bosses and thinking about taking on more acting work. The insider said, “Harry has invested an enormous amount of emotional energy in the idea of rebuilding a meaningful life in Britain.” 

He’s also “desperate for Meghan to embrace that future with the same enthusiasm.” But the insider claimed Harry fears they’re heading in different directions. The source said Markle could “ditch their life in the UK to chase a comeback in Hollywood.” The source added Harry sees their return to Britain as the start of a permanent life there. 

The source then explained, “The nightmare scenario for him is that a major Hollywood offer lands on Meghan’s doorstep.” Harry doesn’t want to put down roots in England while Markle gets pulled back into Hollywood. The insider also stated Markle still has big Hollywood ambitions.

That’s because “she believes there is unfinished business when it comes to establishing herself as a serious Hollywood player.” But it’s not just acting. She reportedly wants to explore producing, too. The source also said that Markle would find it “extremely hard” to turn down a big Hollywood offer. 

The insider even alleged she’d “leave Harry hanging in the UK if it meant chasing her career.” The source added, “Meghan is relentlessly focused on her career, brand and profile, whereas Harry loves the country life in the UK and would retire now if he could.”

The tipster continued that Markle wouldn’t turn down a career-changing offer just because it could complicate their U.K. plans. According to the source, Harry has always supported her career. He also “would never openly suggest she should abandon her professional dreams.” 

But they alleged he may struggle with the idea of Markle spending months in Los Angeles while he builds a life in Britain. “That’s what is causing him so much anxiety,” the insider said. “He’s terrified that their competing priorities could eventually leave them living increasingly separate lives, with neither prepared to surrender the future they really want.” 

Markle played Rachel Zane in Suits and has since filmed a cameo as herself in Close Personal Friends. She was also linked to Guy Ritchie’s Netflix show The Gentlemen. She was reportedly in talks about season three. However, claims later emerged that the streamer used Markle to promote its second season. 

There’s also been talk of a possible Suits reunion, with The Blast putting the deal at around $5 million. But according to E! News, Markle’s representative shut down the rumors, saying there was “no truth” to them. Earlier this year, a source also told Page Six that Markle has been “bombarded” with leading roles in various genres.
