Why Did Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest Break Up?

Ryan Seacrest’s relationships have made headlines in the past. The American Idol host famously dated Julianne Hough in 2010. However, by 2013, they split and decided to remain friends. Seacrest also dated Shayna Taylor on and off for eight years, with their romance starting in 2013. After several years of breaking up and getting back together, they officially called it quits in 2020. More recently, Seacrest dated model Aubrey Paige. They reportedly met in 2021 and split by 2024. Finally, in 2025, the host reportedly split from Australian realtor Camille Orders — his most recent relationship to date.

So, is Seacrest single in 2026? He reportedly isn’t dating anyone currently, though he discussed marriage with Kelly Ripa in 2017. He admitted to Ripa that his parents, who’d been married for nearly 50 years, set a “high bar.”

“My parents [have] been married for 47 years, and so I have this thing,” Seacrest said. “The truth is, I have this thing that I don’t want to screw it up, and a lot of times, they get screwed up, and so I figure, the longer I wait, the older I’ll be, the closer to death I am, so I can get it in, and not screw it up.”

In May 2025, Seacrest also joked that officiating his On Air co-host Tanya Rad’s wedding was the closest he’d ever get to walking down the aisle himself.

“Well, it’s as close to a wedding as I’ve ever gotten, as I ever will be,” he said on Live With Kelly and Mark.

The host clarified whether he uses the dating app Tinder

In 2026, Ryan Seacrest made a Tinder joke that didn’t go unnoticed. He joked that he joined the dating app on Wheel of Fortune during couples’ week, noting that he was lonely.

“I know. I love Love Is In The Air. I am so excited to watch all of these shows,” Seacrest said on the game show. “And I’ll be on Tinder tonight, so I can find it.”

“So, apparently you are on Tinder,” Seacrest’s cohost, Tanya Rad, said to him during an episode of On Air With Ryan Seacrest after the Wheel of Fortune comment went viral.

“No, I’m not on Tinder. Why do people keep asking me if I’m on Tinder?” Seacrest asked.

“Because it is all over the internet,” Rad said.

“Well, I’m not,” he clarified. “I think I made a joke about it on the show.”

“Be careful what you say, because someone ran with it,” Sisanie Villaclara, another co-host, said.

“Many people ran with it,” Rad added. She then read off headlines, which Seacrest denied were true.

“OK fine. Got it,” he said. “Well, I’m not on Tinder, but anyway, I said it jokingly.”
