Sarah Ferguson Could ‘Change the Monarchy’ Forever With a Tell-All Memoir Exposing Epstein Secrets
Sarah Ferguson is holding incredible power as her ex-husband’s life implodes due to his association with sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a celebrity ghostwriter says.
If the former Duchess of York were to pen a tell-all memoir about “what everyone in the Royal family knew about her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and his ties to Epstein” it would likely become an instant bestseller, Joshua Lisec, who’s penned multiple New York Times bestsellers, told Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
Book about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s downfall could be a bestseller
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, has been stripped of his royal titles and evicted from his and Ferguson’s home at Royal Lodge as more information has surfaced about his relationship with Epstein. In February, he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office – the first time a member of the royal family has been arrested in centuries.
Ferguson has been swept up in her husband’s ongoing scandal, as extensive, eyebrow-raising emails between her and Epstein have been made public. As questions about her involvement with the late financier swirl, she’s retreated from the public eye. The one-time Duchess of York was last spotted in December 2025 and has been spending time at various rehab centers and wellness retreats, according to People.
Meanwhile, sales of Ferguson’s latest children’s book were abruptly canceled, with her publisher pulping copies rather than release it to the public. But she could still salvage her writing career, Lisec said, if she chose to spill the truth about what her in-laws really know about Andrew’s behavior.
“Sarah Ferguson’s career as an author of children’s books is likely over, with her most recent book already pulped due to her ties to Jeffrey Epstein. But if Fergie wanted, she could outsell all those books by writing a memoir titled The Windsor Files that reveals what everyone in the Royal family knew about her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and his ties to Epstein,” Lisec said. “If you could market it as the ‘book that could end the House of Windsor,’ that would be a home run, easily selling 10 million copies.”
Sarah Ferguson could write a book that will ‘end the House of Windsor’
Such a book would have to do more than just expose her former husband. It would also need to explore how the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles, “were fully aware” of everything Andrew was doing “with evidence, with receipts, so to speak — a full exposé.”
“If it were billed as ‘the book that could end the House of Windsor,’ then that would be additionally compelling,” Lisec added.
Marketing the memoir as a book that “changes everything” could be a fatal blow for the embattled royals, he argued.
“If the book’s marketing suggests its revelations and evidence are so compelling and damning, I can’t see how anyone in the royal family could show their face in public again,” Lisec said. “If it’s positioned that way, it’s a winner, a home run, and a 10-million-copy bestseller.”
“With support for the Royal Family already dropping in the U.K., a memoir like this could potentially change the monarchy forever,” he added.
