Savannah Guthrie has been focusing on her family since the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie. The Today co-host stepped away from hosting duties in February 2026 with no clear indication of when she’d return.

According to an insider, Savannah might return to Today sooner than expected. The source alleged to Page Six that Savannah might be looking to come back around April 10, as that’s when school is back in session after spring break in New York. Savannah allegedly wants to spend as much time with her husband, Michael Feldman, and her two kids as possible.

Another source close to the Today show told the publication that there’s no specific date set for Savannah’s return just yet. “There is no announcement regarding Savannah’s return date, and Hoda will remain filling in for her,” they said.

On March 5, Savannah headed to Studio 1A in Rockefeller Center to visit her co-workers. She told the other Today colleagues that she has “every intention of coming back,” though she kept the details sparse.
