Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Verdict: Is He Guilty?
As jury deliberations entered their third day in hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs’ high-stakes federal sex-trafficking trial, tensions remained high in the courtroom. The panel of eight men and four women previously reached unanimous verdicts on four of the five felony charges, including sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution, but continued to struggle with the most serious count: racketeering conspiracy. After multiple notes to the judge expressing frustration and requesting clarification on legal instructions and witness testimony, the jury resumed their discussions. So, is Combs guilty? Here’s what the jury decided.
Is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs guilty? The jury finished their deliberations on July 2, 2025
The jury concluded their deliberations for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial on July 2, 2025. Combs faced five serious federal charges stemming from a wide-ranging investigation into alleged sex trafficking and abuse. The first and most severe was racketeering conspiracy. This charge accused Combs of operating a criminal enterprise to recruit, exploit, and silence victims over nearly two decades. He also faced charges of sex trafficking for allegedly coercing individuals into crossing state lines for illicit sexual activities. The third count, transportation for prostitution, centered on claims that Combs facilitated and financed interstate travel for victims under false pretenses.
Here’s what the jury decided regarding whether Combs was guilty:
Count 1: Racketeering — not guilty
Count 2: Sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion (Cassie Ventura) — not guilty
Count 3: Transportation to engage in prostitution (Cassie Ventura) — guilty
Count 4: Sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion (“Jane”) — not guilty
Count 5: Transportation to engage in prostitution guilty (“Jane”) — guilty
Following the verdict, Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, requested that the court release Combs to his home in Miami. He offered a $1 million bond to the judge. Prosecutor Maurene Comey said the government will still seek up to 20 years of jail time for Combs.
