‘Seeking Sister Wife’: Where Are the Merrifields After Season 6?

This might have been the most surprising season of Seeking Sister Wife ever. After years of tears, failed relationships, and accusations of fraud (plus one surprise pregnancy), Dannielle and Garrick Merrifield finally succeeded in finding another woman to join their family. 

Dannielle and Garrick finally added another woman to their family in ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ Season 6 

In season 6 of the TLC series, the Colorado couple introduced viewers to Lorrana, a woman from Brazil who was interested in becoming Garrick’s second wife. After arriving in the U.S., Lorrana quickly married Garrick, who had divorced Dannielle several years earlier. Then, they shocked everyone by announced earlier in November that Lorrana had given birth to her and Garrick’s first child together. 

While the baby is already here, viewers will see moment when the Merrifields learn their family is about to get a little bit bigger in the upcoming Seeking Sister Wife season finale. In a teaser for the December 1 episode (via Instagram), Lorrana prepares to take a pregnancy test. It’s just three weeks after she and Garrick tied the knot, and she admits that while she wants a baby, she didn’t plan on getting pregnant quite so quickly.

“I’m a little worried, truly, if I am actually pregnant,” she says. “Because it will be a big change.”

Dannielle also confessed to feeling nervous. 

“The reality is if Lorrana is pregnant, there’s no going back. We’re tied to her for life,” she says. 

Is Lorrana from ‘Seeking Sister Wife’ still with Garrick and Dannielle?

Lorrana and Garrick’s daughter Sarah Mae Merrifield was born in July 2025.

The trio told People that the were adjusting to the new addition to their family, but that being able to co-parent made everything easier. 

“Co-parenting as a plural family has been wonderful, to have all the support and be there for each other. It’s a blessing to have all of our family involved helping each other,” Garrick said. “It’s definitely allowed us to do different things.”

“With Garrick and I having three children already together, I think it has been a help, but we continue to learn new things after all this time,” Dannielle said. “It has been nice for Lorrana and I to be able to help each other as mothers and give each other breaks. It has also been equally as special to see Garrick become a father again to two girls which is a whole different ball game.”

Based on their comments, it sounds like Garrick, Lorrana, and Dannielle are all still living together in a plural marriage. In mid-November, Lorrana took to Instagram to share a slideshow of photos of her and Dannielle; she’s also posted several photos of her baby daughter. But neither Dannielle nor Garrick have recently shared images of Lorrana or their daughter. And there are signs that there might be trouble in the Merrifield family. On November 24, Garrick was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and intentionally obstructing telephone service, TMZ reported. He bonded out of jail. The Merrifields are expanding their business

In addition to expanding their family, the Merrifields are also growing their business, Merrifield Custom Builders. Recently, both Dannielle and Garrick took to social media to share that they were seeking investors for a luxury resort they hope to build somewhere in California, suggesting they might be considering relocating to a new state. 

“We are opening the doors to an exclusive investment opportunity in California,” they wrote. “Our team is developing a luxury resort project designed to deliver high value, strong returns, and long-term growth.”

As for expanding their family, the Merrifields have not shared any news about adding a third wife to their family. But in the past, Garrick has expressed interest in having more than two wives, so they may be searching for another woman for him to marry.

The Seeking Sister Wife Season 6 finale airs Monday, December 1 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
