Shark Tank star Barbara Corcoran isn’t afraid to get candid with her fans when it comes to cosmetic surgeries. In the past, she opened up about her love of certain procedures to keep her youthful and glowing in her 70s. Unfortunately, she had a recent accident that resulted in a busted lip and a missing front tooth. Here’s how she got it repaired and what else to know about her past plastic surgeries.

‘Shark Tank’ Barbara Corcoran opened up about an accident that led to a quick cosmetic dentist appointment

In March 2026, Shark Tank‘s Barbara Corcoran posted two photos to Instagram showing her with a bloody lip in a reclined doctor’s chair. She explained what happened in the caption. She then noted that she had fixed her smile with the help of a cosmetic dentist.

“I stopped by my new apartment to check on the renovations,” she wrote. “Curiosity didn’t kill the cat, but it sure did take me down.”

Corcoran then explained that she tripped and landed face-first on the ground. “Somehow, my one crooked tooth broke the fall,” she noted. “My upper lip was barely hanging on and there was a lot of blood. (I’ll spare you the photos, but trust me.)”

She wrote that the building super suddenly “appeared” and told her that there was an “incredible doctor” in the building who could stitch her lip “on the spot.” After five stitches from Dr. John E Sherman, MD, she was “good to go.”

“I had planned to travel early tomorrow for four speeches in four cities and I looked damn scary with my front tooth missing,” Corcoran continued. Dr. Sherman then offered for Corcoran to take his dentist appointment that same day, telling her that he’s the “best cosmetic dentist in the city.”

“Next thing I knew, we were in Dr. Sherman’s Porsche parked out front, driving a few blocks south,” she continued. “Talk about 5 stars!”

In just 30 minutes, Corcoran said she “walked out with a brand-new front tooth, straight as an arrow.”

“A major upgrade from my brave tooth that’s probably still buried at the scene,” she added. “Long story short, I knocked out my front tooth and didn’t even get a gold medal for it.”

Shark Tank fans love Barbara Corcoran’s honesty regarding her cosmetic surgeries. In the past, she admitted to many procedures.

In 2025, she participated in the “unfortunately I do love” trend on Instagram, where she listed taboo behaviors that she loves participating in. She wrote that she loves “getting facelifts,” in the clip, also adding that she adores “eating a donut after a workout,” “liquid lunches,” and “buying real estate,” among many others.

In June 2025, she also discussed on Threads how she’s had three facelifts. She posted a photo of herself on a couch with arrows pointing to areas of her body that she’s had surgically and cosmetically enhanced, according to People. These included an “at-home hair cut and color every six weeks,” “three facelifts,” “lower eyelid skin punch,” “filler four times a year,” “brow lift,” “neck lift,” “fractional CO2 laser on face one time a year,” and “professional teeth whitening,” to name a few.

The ‘Shark Tank’ star won’t say how much she spends on procedures

Barbara Corcoran doesn’t want the world to know how much she’s spent on cosmetic surgeries. However, she admitted that some celebrity doctors in Manhattan charge $300,000 for a deep-plane facelift.

“I’m not going to tell you,” she told the New York Post in July 2025. “I know exactly how much, but I hesitate to say it out loud.”

The Shark Tank star revealed that she had her first facelift at 46.

“I do it every 10 years, that’s my rhythm,” she explained. “All of a sudden, I noticed nobody was noticing me anymore on the street. I was invisible. The guys weren’t whistling, they weren’t even turning their heads — nothing. [I was becoming] an invisible lady around town. And that really bothered me.”
