Simone Biles Reveals Shocking Fact About Pre-Marriage Dating

Simone Biles’ life has changed drastically in the past few years. Known as the Olympic GOAT, she now enjoys life in her new custom-built home with her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens. In November 2025, she spoke to Refinery29 about her new clothing in her Athleta collaboration. And she also got real about her “new hobbies” and not hitting the gym as much as she once did.

“Now, I’ve started to explore other hobbies that still include working out, but it just looks a little bit different,” she explained. “Right now, although I’m not in the gym 24/7, I’m in my horseback riding lessons, and I’m about to pick up ice skating lessons because I feel like gymnastics, although it was working out, it was just, it was so much fun for me, and you don’t even realize you’re exercising. So, I wanted to feel that similar feeling.”

Biles explained why she chose to pick up ice skating. “The rink is literally three minutes from my house, and since I pass it all the time going to and from the airport, I’m like, ‘Okay, that’s going to be a fun, little hobby,'” she said. The gymnast noted that she doesn’t feel “ready” to reenter a proper gym setting just yet unless it’s for a “cute” activity, like pilates.

Is the Olympian done with gymnastics for good?

Simone Biles fans want to know whether the Olympian is officially retired from the sport. The gold medalist spoke about the rumors to Olympics.com.

“It’s only been a year,” she said in August 2025. “I feel like if you ask me next year, maybe, I’d be like, ‘Oh, I miss that.’ But it’s crazy because I don’t get up every day and think like, ‘Oh, I wish I could flip.’ I flipped for 22 years of my life, so being right side up is kind of nice.”

She didn’t verify her plans for the future. But she did say she wants it to be her “choice” when she’s officially done.

“I’ve done so much, and I have had so much success in the sport, it’s like I want it to be my choice when I’m done,” Biles continued. “I don’t want the doctors to be like, ‘Hey. You can’t. Move on.’ I think for a lot of elite athletes, it’s never their choice when they get to be done.”

Some fans think Simone Biles’ recent plastic surgery is a sign of retirement

Simone Biles got real in 2025 about her plastic surgery. She posted a TikTok about her breast augmentation. Many fans took this as a sign of retirement.

“I pretty much assumed she was done after 2024, she had a great Olympics and was able to go out on a high,” a Reddit user commented. “Plus, she’s married now and seems to be happy just supporting her husband and doing fun stuff not gymnastics related. Also, TIL she got implants, but yeah, I’d be shocked if she made a comeback.”

“Even if she officially retires, she’ll be in LA28 ads, Phelps was all over Paris ads,” another user explained. “I’m sure she even has stuff lined up for the Winter Olympics this year.”
