Olympic champion Simone Biles and NFL player Jonathan Owens have built a strong and admired partnership both on and off the spotlight. The pair first connected in March 2020. And they quickly formed a bond despite Owens initially not realizing he was dating the world-famous gymnast. They married in a courthouse ceremony in April 2023 and later celebrated with a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. While Biles is known as one of the most decorated gymnasts in the world, she’s now embracing life as an “NFL wife.” Here’s what she shared about her nightly routine before a big game.

Simone Biles shared a night in her life as an ‘NFL wife’

Simone Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, have become one of sports’ most admired power couples. Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears, first connected with Biles in 2020. And the two tied the knot in 2023.

Since then, their relationship has thrived under the spotlight, with Owens cheering Biles on as she added to her record-breaking Olympic medal count, and Biles proudly embracing her role as an “NFL wife,” supporting him throughout his football career. In September 2025, Biles shared a reel on her Instagram of how she prepares for a “weekend of football” with some self-care at home.

“Spend a self-care night with me before a weekend of football,” her voiceover states as she preps for the evening in the bathroom. “Even though I’m not the one playing, game weekends are still a lot as an NFL wife. So, the night before, it’s time to reset, take care of me, and spend time with my man.”

Biles notes that the first thing she does is an “everything shower,” which includes washing her hair. She puts K18 Molecular Repair Mask on damp, freshly-washed hair, and allows it to “do its thing.” Biles then puts on a face mask before heading downstairs to spend time on the couch and watch a movie.

The following day, she shared another clip of her hair and game-day outfit, which included a halter top, shorts, and cowboy boots.

Simone Biles is widely regarded as the greatest elite gymnast of all time, dominating the sport with her record-breaking medal count and signature skills that now carry her name. As the most decorated gymnast in history, Biles has redefined the standard of excellence on the world stage, combining explosive power with unmatched precision and artistry. Her Olympic and World Championship performances have earned her global recognition.

In 2021, E! News shared Biles’ intense training schedule. Biles began her days at the gymnastics gym at 7 a.m., with her morning practice ending at 10:30 a.m. During that time, she worked on three different events. After that, she headed home for a nap, lunch, and to spend time with her dogs. By 2 p.m., Biles returned to the gym to continue working on Olympic events.

“Mondays and Wednesdays I do recovery after with our trainer, so I get a massage, ice, whatever that may be,” she explained. “And then, I’m usually back home around 5:30 or so, and that’s Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Thursday we have a half-day, Friday again is two practices. Saturday’s a half day and we have Sunday off.”

Will Simone Biles return for the 2028 Olympics?

Many gymnastics fans have speculated that Simone Biles is finished competing and won’t return to the 2028 Olympics. However, she warned everyone not to count her out just yet.

“I want it to be my choice when I’m done,” she told Olympics.com. “I don’t want the doctors to be like, ‘Hey, you can’t move on.’ I’m grateful that if this (Paris) was the end, that I got to choose my ending.”

Biles added that she’s “absolutely not” finished with gymnastics. As for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, “We’ll definitely see.”
