‘Sister Wives’ Star Robyn Brown Allegedly Spent Thousands of Dollars of Custom Doll Clothes
Robyn Brown has dropped a small fortune on her beloved doll collection, an insider claims.
Recently, a person who “wants to remain anonymous” reached out to podcast host Sarah Fraser to share some details about the former Sister Wives star’s costly hobby.

“They can confirm that Robyn Brown has spent thousands of dollars in American Girl doll clothes,” Fraser said (via YouTube).
The source said that a member of their family has a business selling handmade clothing and accessories for the popular line of Mattel dolls.
“Robyn Brown has apparently bought tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff over the years,” the person told Fraser. The doll clothing makers apparently didn’t know one of their frequent customers was a reality TV star until a friend recognized some of their items in an episode of the TLC show.
“Are we shocked by that?” Fraser asked, laughing. “We know she loves her doll collection.”
Does the ‘Sister Wives’ star have a big spending problem?
This isn’t the first time that Robyn’s pricey hobby has come under the microscope. In 2025, internet sleuths combed through her reviews on Etsy. According to their calculations, Kody Brown’s fourth wife had spent more than $60,000 on doll clothing and accessories in just three years (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup). Some intricate individual outfits costs hundreds of dollars apiece.
People close to Kody and Robyn have also claimed the pair have a spending problem.
“I think that my dad and Robyn have a terrible habit of spending very crazy and, like, not within their means at all,” Kody’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown said of her dad and stepmom in a 2023 YouTube video. Others have suggested that Robyn brought roughly $32,000 of credit card debt with her when she joined the Brown family.
However, at least one person has defended Robyn’s doll collection. Kody’s daughter Mykelti Brown said that Robyn’s hobby was more than just a case of out-of-control spending.
“It is something very special that she shared with some very special important people to her, was this collection of dolls,” Mykelti said (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup).
“So, I know it sounds absurd and that is a lot of money, so I don’t necessarily support that much money [being spent on dolls] but I support the heart behind it,” she added. “And the reasons behind it I think are very sweet.”
