The Sister Wives cast is getting ready to share the truth about filming one of the most painful seasons in the history of the TLC show.

Sister Wives Season 19 followed the members of the Brown family as they continued to navigate life after polygamy. Christine, Janelle, and Meri Brown are all moving forward after the end of their marriages to Kody Brown. Meanwhile, Kody and his last remaining wife, Robyn Brown, are facing a future as a monogamous couple. But as the season drew to a close, the family was rocked by the tragic death of Kody and Christine’s son Garrison Brown.

The Browns will open up about the painful experience of losing Garrison and other moments from recent episodes in the upcoming Sister Wives Season 19 tell-all. The four-part event begins Sunday, May 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.

Sukanya Krishnan returns to host the tell-all. The exclusive one-on-one conversations, will offer a deeper look into the family’s struggles, triumphs, and the ongoing changes in each family member’s life, with Krishnan asking tough questions that sometimes put the cast members on the defensive.

“Do you feel Kody abandoned Meri?” Krishnan asks in tell-all clip from the season 19 teaser (via YouTube).

“We were all abandoned,” Christine replies.

Meanwhile, Kody continues to play the role of the victim in the collapse of his plural marriages.

“I am so sick and tired of being guilted for loving Robyn,” he says.

Is this the last season of ‘Sister Wives’?

With the latest season of Sister Wives drawing to a close, fans are wondering about the future of the long-running reality series.

In many ways, the series seems to have reached a natural conclusion. The Browns are no longer living plural marriage, and the family members have scattered to different corners of the country. Janelle has moved to North Carolina, Meri lives in Parowan, Utah, and Christine and her new husband live near Salt Lake City. Robyn and Kody still make their home in Flagstaff, Arizona. While Janelle and Christine remain friendly, other family members have little contact with each other. However, many viewers remain interested in the family, particularly Janelle, Christine, and Meri’s lives post-polygamy. Future episodes of Sister Wives might focus more on Kody’s former spouses, or even concentrate on Robyn and Kody as they enter the next phase of their relationship.

So far, TLC hasn’t revealed whether Sister Wives will return for a 20th season. Last year, Meri noted that the show would eventually have to come to an end.

“You know, it’s hard to say like, ‘Is it getting bigger? Is it on the downhill?’ I mean, we’ve been going for so long, and it’s not something that’s going to go forever,” she said during a July 2024 appearance on The Sarah Fraser Show. “You know? It’s just not.”
