The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star is back on TV this week in the abbreviated fifth season of the hit Hulu reality series. The MomTok personality is centerstage in the episodes, which highlight her fraught relationship with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares a 2-year-old son, Ever

Taylor and Dakota have been in the headlines for months. First came the news that filming on SLOMW Season 5 had paused in the wake of a domestic incident involving the pair. Then, footage of a 2023 fight where Taylor hurled a chair at Dakota, nearly hitting one of her own children in the process, leaked to the media. ABC promptly pulled Taylor’s upcoming season of The Bachelorette. Meanwhile, she and Dakota headed to court to request dueling restraining orders and negotiate custody of Ever.

Since then, Paul has opened up about domestic violence and mental health on her Instagram. As she continues her healing journey, she should look at her own thought processes, Terrie Huberman said in an email.

“Frankie’s relationship radar has a kink in the chain and it feels like it stems from a thoughtform about her ‘not mattering, anyways, or that her opinions or views don’t count,'” explained Huberman, who works with high-performing women and entrepreneurs who struggle with overthinking, emotional overwhelm, and indecision. “The energetic attachment to that deep seated belief is what causes her to ignore her intuition when it comes to relationships, therefore she’ll talk herself out of her initial instinct and makes poor choices.”

‘SLOMW’ star should ‘acknowledge her positivity, strengths, and wins’

The mom of three should “lean into and acknowledge her positivity, strengths, and wins in life,” the author of Overcome Overthinking added. “If she focuses her attention there and not on what’s missing in her life, she’ll notice the tides change more towards her favor and direction.”

The SLOMW star needs to go beyond just putting herself first or focusing on self-care, Huberman said.  She must acknowledge “that she IS important and isn’t just here for sh*ts and giggles. She DOES matter and she DOES count … she just needs to stop looking outside for that validation.”

“What she could benefit from is an energetic clearing and detaching from the cords that have built up over the years that tell her ‘I’m not important enough, I don’t matter, I don’t count,’” she added. “When she does, she’ll slay these dragons.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu.
