Where’s the haunting?

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will try her hand at ghost-hunting in the new series, Paranormal Rookie. The Jersey Shore alum will team up with psychic medium Kevin Whitaker to explore some of Canada’s most haunted locations in the paranormal investigation series for Canadian TV channel and streaming service Crave. It will premiere in 2026. (There’s no word yet when or if the show will be available in the U.S.)

Snooki’s a novice when it comes to searching for spirits, but she’s a true believer in the supernatural. Over her transformational journey, she’ll go from wide-eyed rookie to confident investigator, culminating in a solo investigation at a famously haunted spot.

“I’ve always been obsessed with the paranormal – it’s a real passion of mine,” Snooki said. “Getting to explore Canada’s haunted history with Kevin and actually learning how to investigate spirits? This is a dream come true. I’m scared, I’m excited, and I’m ready to prove I can do this. The ghosts better watch out because this mawma is coming for them!”

Filming Paranormal Rookie is the realization of a long-held dream for Snooki.

“I’ve been dying for years to do a show like this. SEE YOU SOON SPOOKIES,” she wrote on Instagram after the new show was announced.

The ‘Jersey Shore’ star has opened up about her paranormal experiences

Polizzi has long had an interest in the paranormal and unexplained phenomena. She even previously pitched shows focused on her abilities as a medium and another about UFOs, but there we no takers, she said in a conversation with Otherworld podcast host Jack Wagner for Interview last year.

“I felt things my entire life,” Polizzi told Wagner. “I saw a UFO when I was 13. My husband thinks I’m crazy, but eventually I opened up my third eye to really feeling things and hearing things.”

“I’ve felt ghosts before,” she said later. “I don’t know if I’ve seen a ghost, but I saw light beams that looked like a camera flash. But it was seven feet tall, blue and white, and it was just there right in front of me.”

The Jersey Shore Family Vacation star also talked about reconciling her belief in the paranormal with her Catholic faith.

“When people do believe in spirits, UFOs, universe things, they’re not considered strongly Catholic and I am,” she said. “I believe in everything. I believe in God, I believe in angels, I believe in demons and aliens and the universe stuff. I feel like I’m different in that sense, because I believe it all. I believe in vampires. I believe everything.”
