Brody Jenner married his longtime partner, Tia Blanco, in an intimate ceremony at his mother, Linda Thompson’s home in Malibu, California, on July 12. Noticeably absent from the wedding were his half-sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

It was initially reported that the siblings were invited but opted not to attend because they didn’t want to take attention away from the bride. It was later said they also had work commitments. However, it’s now being reported that wasn’t the case.

According to a source who spoke to The US Sun, Kendall and Kylie chose to decline their brother’s invitation due to bad blood between their mother, Kris Jenner, and Brody’s mom.

“Brody personally invited Kylie and Kendall more than a few months back,” the insider told the publication. “The official line is that both girls already had other commitments, so unfortunately, they were not able to attend.”

The source added that if they really wanted to attend, they could have just jumped on Kylie’s private jet and made an appearance.

Instead, the insider claimed, they stayed away because of the “bad blood” between Kris and Thompson, explaining that: “Linda is quite a character, and has a lot to say about Kris — and vice versa. It was fireworks for a few years, and that drama did carry through into the kids.”

Thompson was married to Caitlyn Jenner from 1981 to 1986. Caityln went on to marry Kris in 1991 and they divorced in 2015.
