Everything You Need to Know About ‘Survivor’ 50’s Massive 3-Hour Premiere
Survivor is marking a major milestone.
Twenty-four Survivor all-stars are returning to the island to compete for $1 million in the iconic show’s 50th season. The theme for this landmark season? “In the Hands of the Fans.” In Survivor 50, viewers will have an unprecedented opportunity to affect the outcome of the game.
“Season 50 is the most fun I’ve ever had on a season of Survivor,” host Jeff Probst told EW. “It’s due to two things. The fact that the fans decided the type of gameplay, because that created uncertainty in a way that it didn’t really matter what they decided. The point was they were the ones in charge of deciding. So the players had no idea what was coming.”
The contest begins on February 25 with a super-sized three-hour premiere on CBS. Keep reading for all the details you need to know about the Survivor 50 premiere.
