‘Survivor’ 51 Contestant Linnea Capobianco Isn’t Apologizing for Her Anti-Astrology Stance

Linnea Capobianco does not want to hear about your Zodiac sign. 

The Survivor 51 contestant made her anti-astrology stance clear during her introduction.

“I’m super logical. My mom’s a scientist … I do not live in the la la land of astrology,” she explained. 

Survivor players sometimes bond by discussing their Zodiac signs, while some fans like to analyze contestants birth charts to asses their personality and likelihood of winning. But for Linnea, the idea that the stars have any meaningful impact on your life is pure nonsense. 

“For years I have been literally known as the anti-astrology girl,” New Jersey native Linnea recently told NJ.com. “Like, we’re at a college party? Linnea’s in the mood to argue with somebody about zodiac signs and their lack of science, rationale, all the things.”

The 25-year-old headed to Fiji that she’d play along if a fellow player asked about her sign. (She’s a Taurus.) But she said anyone who took astrology seriously was not someone with whom she wanted to build an alliance. Instead, she wanted to connect with “rational” players. 

“I absolutely went in thinking, ‘If I need to, I will put on a front, but I am not going to have a close ally be an astrology lover,’” she said. “One hundred percent, I don’t want to do that — that was my plan.”

“I have friends who are into [astrology], and I automatically think they’re a little bit more living in the clouds than I am,” she added.
