“Taylor was in Los Angeles on Thursday filming a new music video,” the source alleged. “It was so top secret that those working on set were not even allowed to hear the song, only the beat. Even though she’s been taking time off from touring and working a lot to spend time with Travis, there are still projects she’s working on, which will no doubt please fans.”

Fans can’t wait to hear more about what’s to come. Her most recent studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, dropped on April 19, 2024 — a sprawling 31‑track double album that shattered streaming records (with over a billion streams in its debut week), sold 2.61 million units in the U.S., and even saw Swift occupy the top 14 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. That summer, she integrated the album seamlessly into her “Eras Tour.” Swift debuted seven new tracks in a striking “Tortured Poets” segment that launched in Paris on May  9, 2024.

“The Eras Tour” wrapped on Dec. 8, 2024, in Vancouver after 149 stadium shows, becoming the highest-grossing concert tour of all time with over $2 billion in ticket sales. Of course, Travis Kelce supported Swift through it all, even appearing on stage with her.

An insider told People that Kelce’s choice to feature Swift at this time was purely intentional. And, of course, the NFL star published the post just a day or two before insiders discussed Swift’s new music video.

“They’ve been private in their own way, but this was his way of showing how serious things have become,” the source alleged. “They’re in a really solid place and more in sync than ever.”

Fans are speculating about the music video theme

Swifties can’t wait to hear more about Taylor Swift’s “top secret” music video. A fan on Reddit noted that one theory suggests the video could have a football theme to include Travis Kelce.

“Some theories going around suggest the video might have a football theme, maybe because of Travis Kelce,” a fan alleged. “Others say it could have a retro ’70s vibe based on one line in the original report, but none of that is confirmed.”

“Now that Taylor owns all her masters, it’s unlikely this video is for a re-recorded track,” they continued. “It really seems like something completely new is on the way.”

Another fan noted that all of Swift’s music videos are kept under wraps, so this information isn’t novel.
