Taylor Swift May Get Married in Her ‘Adopted Hometown’ of Nashville, Expert Predicts
Newly engaged Taylor Swift hasn’t revealed any details about her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce. But the billionaire pop star may choose to tie the knot in the musical city that has been crucial to her career success, an expert predicts.
“Nashville is Taylor’s adopted hometown, the place where her career first took flight, and it remains the beating heart of her artistic story,” says Liam Smith from Aura Print, a U.K. company that specializes in high-end premium printing for invitations and other projects.
Why Taylor Swift might get married in Nashville

A Music City wedding would allow Swift to “celebrate her roots” while also welcoming a “global audience,” Smith said. The setting would also feel like home to Kelce, who is originally from Ohio and now lives in Kansas, since it “evokes the spirit of rural America,” Smith added.
“Nashville offers the perfect balance, nodding to his love of big stages and her musical legacy, creating a symbolic meeting point between their worlds,” he added.
Another point in Nashville’s favor? The “Karma” singer owns multiple properties in the area, including a unit in a luxury apartment building on Music Row and the sprawling Greek revival Northumberland Estate. The latter could be the perfect setting for a romantic wedding.
Rhode Island and NYC are also strong contenders for Taylor-Travis wedding
But Tennessee isn’t the only place that the jet-setting Grammy-winner calls home. She also owns the iconic oceanfront Watch Hill estate in Rhode Island. That property serves the site of her legendary Fourth of July parties and could be the ideal spot to say “I do” to her NFL star fiance. Plus, she recently embarked on an expansion of the house, and the additional square footage could make it even easier to host her sure-to-be star-studded nuptials there.
“Rhode Island, with its golden foliage and coastal romance, would not only provide a breathtaking backdrop but also cement the couple’s celebration as the defining cultural moment of the season,” Smith noted.
If Swift embraces a fall vibe for her big day, she might also look to New York City, where she also has a multi-million dollar home in Tribeca.
“New York has long been a character in Taylor’s music, making it a deeply symbolic backdrop for a wedding,” Smith pointed out. “A fall ceremony in Central Park, framed by the city’s golden leaves and skyline, would marry romance with cultural relevance. For a couple who embody both tradition and modern spectacle, New York offers the ultimate stage.”
Some fans think ‘Karma’ singer might say ‘I do’ at the Biltmore Estate
While Swift might want to say “I do” in a location where she already has ties, some fans also suspect the songstress could be considering one of America’s most famous house for her wedding venue.
A few days before Swift and Kelce announced their engagement, his mom, Donna Kelce, posted about visiting the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The chateau-like property, which was built by a member of the Vanderbilt family, is the largest privately owned house in the U.S. and is now a tourist attraction and event venue. Fans speculated Donna might have been scoping out the location for her son’s big day.
“Miss Donna what do you know,” one person commented on Instagram.
“Ok Easter egg Donna,” another wrote.
Asheville city council member Sage Turner also urged Mama Kelce to consider the city’s star attraction for the upcoming event.
“I officially invite you and your newly expanding family to consider an Asheville wedding!” she wrote. “We love these two and we’d love to welcome you all back to celebrate love!”
