Taylor Swift gets what she wants.

The pop star shelled out a hefty sum to a rival bride in order to book her preferred wedding date at her dream venue, Page Six reports.

Did Taylor Swift pay another bride to get her dream wedding date and location?

The “Karma” singer is planning to wed her NFL player beau Travis Kelce on June 13, 2026, according to sources. Initially, she hoped to say “I do” at her massive Watch Hill estate in Rhode Island. But that sprawling, 11,000-square-foot house – which Swift bought in 2013 for nearly $18 million – apparently isn’t suitable for the event she has planned. So, she turned to a neighboring location: Ocean House at Watch Hill.

The problem? Another couple was scheduled to tie the knot at the posh hotel on the day Swift wanted to get married. So, Swift opened her wallet in order to persuade the pair to find another location for their big day.

The Grammy winner “made an offer the bride couldn’t refuse,” the tabloid claims, though it’s not clear exactly how much she had to pay to convince the other woman to give up her date. Swift has not officially confirmed her and Kelce’s wedding date or location and did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Ocean House has denied the report that it allowed Swift was able to use her billionaire status to get her dream wedding date at relatively short notice.

“When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family,” a spokesperson for the hotel told TMZ. “Ocean House would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date.”

Taylor Swift’s rumored wedding venue is a luxurious seaside resort

Ocean House is a classic New England seaside resort. The five-star hotel and event venue sits on a bluff overlooking Block Island Sound and has 46 guest rooms and 23 suites. It’s a popular location for weddings. Couples who get married at Ocean House get “more than a walk down the aisle and an exchange of vows,” the hotel’s website promises. “The Ocean House is the perfect luxury wedding destination, where you can make your wedding a weekend-long event forging long-lasting memories for you and your guests.”

The fee for a beach ceremony at Ocean House is $15,000, while larger reception venues range from $15,000 to $75,000. Plated dinners run from $335 to $565 per person, with food and beverage minimums as high as $125,000 for a Saturday wedding in the most desirable months of the year.

If Swift and Kelce do choose Ocean House for their wedding, they won’t be the first celebrity couple to celebrate at the hotel. Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and NFL player Christian McCaffrey held there reception there in June 2024.
