“There were a couple of occasions where I would go into the master bedroom … and they would have James on the bed,” the nanny noted, according to a clip posted to Reddit. “If he would start to crawl toward her, she would just direct him back toward danger. And I would just kind of just wonder in my mind, ‘What is she doing?’ She would show that child no attention. None.”
The nanny added that James would never cry out for Amber in Amber’s absence.

Further in the interview posted to Reddit, Amber Portwood’s nanny noted that she never saw Amber wake up early. Despite the nanny cleaning during the day, “nothing would wake her up.”
“So, obviously, she was up late, late at night,” the nanny continued regarding the Teen Mom star. ” … I have no idea what time she got up. She stayed in her bedroom all the time. There was one time that I did see her leave, and that was when it was her, and Andrew, and James were going to pick Leah up to go to the zoo. So, they were rushing around getting ready.”
The nanny then referred to the Teen Mom star as “Princess Amber” due to the reality star’s tantrums.

During the interview, the nanny noted that Amber Portwood’s ex, Andrew Glennon, called her regarding Amber getting physical with him and their son, James. The nanny offered for Andrew and James to come to her house after the police were called. “The very next morning, I was up there bright and early, because [Andrew] was so distraught,” she continued. The nanny went on to call Amber “a monster.”
In another moment in the interview, the nanny claimed to have seen slash marks on the office door. While Amber previously claimed the marks were from a dog, the nanny said that was a lie. The nanny noted that the marks on the door were 12 inches long. “They were gash marks — like a machete,” she continued. “In one of those wings, she broke the doorknob.”
