MTV’s Teen Mom fans continue to follow Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s journey with their adopted daughter, Carly. Catelynn and Tyler decided to put Carly up for adoption when they were 16 years old. The couple has explained how their relationship with Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, has become strained through the years, with Teresa ultimately blocking Catelynn’s phone number. Here are the texts that Catelynn was sending to Teresa before she was blocked.

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra allowed Teen Mom fans to follow their path through open adoption with their firstborn daughter, Carly. The couple chose Brandon and Teresa Davis as Carly’s adoptive parents and thought they’d be able to sustain a close relationship with Carly as she grew up. Unfortunately, Brandon and Teresa later closed the adoption and cut off communication with Catelynn and Tyler. This has led to Catelynn and Tyler speaking out regarding their grief.

Teresa later blocked Catelynn’s phone number, noting that her mental health was at stake. A Reddit user posted about Catelynn publicly posting the texts that she sent to Teresa that led to the blocking.

“Literally ignored for months then just blocked,” Catelynn wrote on Instagram, according to a Reddit screenshot. “Hurts my heart for all the kids involved.”

The texts between Catelynn and Teresa show Catelynn sending lengthy paragraphs of updates meant for Carly. The paragraphs often had photos and videos included.

“Thinking of Carly,” one text reads. “Please let her know that we miss and love her. Also her sisters miss her! They ask about her all the time! Here’s some Rya belly laughs, I know Carly would love to hear them. You can’t help but smile and laugh along.”

Unfortunately for Catelynn, Teresa never responded.

Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell addressed several of her texts directly to Carly. It’s unclear if Teresa Davis ever showed Carly the texts. However, given that Teresa blocked Catelynn’s phone number, it’s unlikely.

“Hey Carly, we miss and love you!” one text reads. “We are out in California visiting family and Tyler’s grandma. It’s beyond HOT here! Hope you are having an amazing summer!! Love you and hope to talk to you soon!!” The text included several photos of Catelynn and her family.

Catelynn sent several other text series to Teresa’s phone while in California. Once she and Tyler returned, she sent more texts with accompanying photos.

“Hey Carly!” the text begins. “We got back from our trip to California! It was good seeing family but MAN I’m happy to be home! Now we are just getting back into our routine!” Catelynn went on to give updates about her daughters, Novalee and Vaeda.

Even more photos and texts show Catelynn sending Carly updates about Nova and Vaeda starting school, Nova shopping, Nova buying a bearded dragon, and a family camping trip.

‘Teen Mom’ fans think Teresa Davis had every right to block the reality stars

Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell had good intentions when sending these texts to Teresa Davis. However, fans found the constant texting to be far too much. Some fans said they felt amazed that Brandon and Teresa didn’t personally speak out to the media regarding their interactions with Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra.

“Teresa was absolutely right — this is crazy and inappropriate,” a fan on Reddit commented.

“No contact means no contact,” another fan wrote. “Blowing up someone’s phone doesn’t give you the right to their information or lives.”
