‘The Challenge: Cutthroat’: Cara Maria Weighs Throwing a Challenge [Exclusive Clip]
Cara Maria Sorbello is playing to win.
In this exclusive clip from the September 23 episode of Paramount+’s The Challenge, “A Captain’s Worst Nightmare,” Cara Maria, now part of the recently merged Gray Team, weighs her options heading into a race against the Orange Team.
“If I’m going to throw this challenge today, when I’m looking at the pecking order, I’m thinking, Will [Gagnon] and Justin [Hinsley[ are at the bottom. CT [Tamburello]’s not in danger and Johnny [Bananas]’s not in danger,” she explains to a producer. “So, I’m trying to save Will and Justin? To me, I’m like, ‘No.’ I’m sorry. I don’t have it in me to throw it.”
As Cara Maria develops her strategy, Will remains confident in his own physical abilities, even if he doesn’t quite have a handle on a common idiom.
“Obviously there’s a ton of stairs right here, but I think right now I’m the MVP of the team and you want the MVP doing the hardest things,” he tells a producer. “The bread is – is that the saying? The bread is in the pudding? You never heard that before?
