The Jersey Shore family is growing. Angelina Pivarnick is set to become the latest cast member, best known for thier wild antics more than a decade ago, to become a parent. Pivarnick’s pregnancy announcement played out during the May 14 episode of Jersey Shore Family Reunion. While the announcement had been teased in advance, it brought more dramatic moments than expected.

Angelina Pivarnick shared her big pregnancy news with the world during the second episode of Jersey Shore Family Reunion‘s ninth and final season. In a candid and emotional scene, castmate Sammi Giancola accompanied Angelina to the bathroom, where she took a pregnancy test. When the result came back positive, Sammi exclaimed, “I got chills. I’m gonna cry for you.”
The season premiere, which aired May 7, had already set the stage for the big reveal. In the premiere episode, Angelina told Snooki and Sammi that she was actively looking to become a mother, despite her romantic life not panning out as she had hoped. While Angelina was considering IVF and sperm donation, this pregnancy occured naturally. She did not share the identity of the baby’s father.
Angelina is one of the more controversial castmates
It might be all love for Angelina Pivarnick and her Jersey Shore castmates now, but that’s not how it always was. She has been one of the most talked-about figures in the Jersey Shore universe since the very beginning. Angelina was one of the founding cast members, way back in 2009, but left the series after heated arguments with her housemates left her feeling unwanted. She flitted in and out of the series several times over the years and has explored other moneymaking avenues during her downtime.
Her personal life has been equally eventful and dramatic. In November 2019, Pivarnick married Chris Larangeira in New Jersey. She filed for divorce just over a year later. In 2023, with her divorce settled, she announced her engagement to Vinny Tortorella. They split in 2025. She appears to be single, though rumors were swirling that she and Vinny Tortorella were spending time together again just a few months ago.
The Rest of the ‘Family Vacation’ Crew and Their Kids
Angelina’s pregnancy means she is now joining the majority of her castmates in parenthood. Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has three children with husband Jionni LaValle. She was the first cast member to welcome a baby. Her son Lorenzo was born in 2012. Daughter, Giovanna, followed in 2014. Her second son, Angelo, finished the family in 2019.
DJ Pauly D found out he was a parent as Snooki was welcoming her second child. His daughter, Amabella Sophia, was born in 2013, though paternity was established later. Jwoww was the next cast member to bring kids into the mix. Her daughter, Meilani, was born in 2014, followed by her son, Greyson, in 2016. She shares both children with her ex-husband, Roger Matthews.
Deena Cortese has two sons with her husband, Christopher Buckner. CJ, born in 2019, and Cameron Theo, born in 2021, are heavily featured on her social media feeds. Mike Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are also parents. Mike shares three children with his wife, Lauren. Their son, Romeo, was born in 2021. Mia and Luna joined the family in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Ronnie became a dad to Ariana Sky with Jen Harley in 2018. The relationship was toxic. Sammi, who briefly dated Ronnie, has moved on and welcomed a baby boy of her own with her longtime partner, Justin May. Their son, Vincent, was born in August 2025.
Angelina and Vinny Guadagnino were the only cast members left without children. Now, Vinny is the sole Jersey Shore cast member who has opted not to have children yet. Vinny remains single and doesn’t seem to be in a big rush to expand his family right now.
