‘The Kardashians’: Caitlyn Jenner, Rob Kardashian, and Glenn Close Make Cameos in Drama-Filled Season 7
Some familiar faces are dropping by in The Kardashians Season 7.
On Wednesday, Hulu dropped the first trailer for the new season of the famous family’s reality series. The clip features appearances from two family members who’ve long been absent from TV: Kris Jenner’s son, Rob Kardashian, and her ex, Caitlyn Jenner.
Caitlyn Jenner, Rob Kardashian resurface in new season of ‘The Kardashians’
As usual, there’s plenty of drama on this season of The Kardashians, including Kim Kardashian’s high-profile visit to Paris to testify in her robbery trial, and conflict between sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian. (“Kourtney never has anything nice to say these days,” Khloé declares.)
There’s also a family reunion in the works.
“Is Bob here? Bobby?” Khloé Kardashian asks as she walks toward an outdoor dining table, where we get a brief glimpse of Rob. It’s the first TV appearance for the 38-year-old since his 2016 reality series Rob & Chyna.
Later, Caitlyn shows up, which is difficult for Kris.
“I think my mom has had a hard time inviting my dad to some of our family gatherings,” Kendall Jenner tells a producer. “But my dad should be included in things.”
“Dear heavenly father, give me patience, because I’m about to lose my sh*t,” Kris says as we see footage of a casually dressed Caitlyn walking into the family home. Caitlyn last appeared in the series finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Neither she nor Rob has been seen on The Kardashians, which premiered on Hulu in 2022.
This season will also see some very special guests dropping by Kris’ home. Kim is filming her upcoming Hulu drama series All’s Fair, and she decides to invite her castmates – including Glenn Close, Niecy Nash, and Sarah Paulson – over for a girls night.
“I’m already drunk, but I need another,” Close says as Paulson shows her around the house.
Kim Kardashian reveals someone put a hit out on her
In the trailer, Kim also opens up about a scary development in her life.
“I got a call from investigators,” she says. “Someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life.”
The identity of person who allegedly wanted a “terrified” Kim killed isn’t revealed. In 2022, her ex-husband Kanye West said on Instagram that Kim “ACCUSED ME OF PUTTING A HIT OUT ON HER,” according to Page Six.
The news of Kim’s latest ordeal sends shockwaves through the Kardashian family.
“Everybody is kind of on edge,” Kendall says, before her sister Kylie Jenner shares a story about hearing “footsteps walking into my room.”
The KarJenners are also facing a major change this season, as Kris prepares to sell the Hidden Hills home where she raised her two youngest daughters. It’s an emotional moment for Kendall and Kylie.
“This house is so special,” Kylie says.
“Kylie and I have so much history in that house,” Kendall says in a confessional. “We snuck boys in that house, gotten each other out of trouble in that house, fought in that house.”
The Kardashians Season 7 premieres October 23 on Hulu.
