‘The McBee Dynasty’ renewed ahead of Steven McBee Jr. sentencing
Filming on The McBee Dynasty Season 3 was set to begin ahead of patriarch Steven McBee Sr.’s October 16 sentencing on fraud charges, Variety reports. On Thursday, the 52-year-old rancher and farmer was sentenced to 24 months in prison and two years of supervised release. In November 2024, he pleaded guilty to crop insurance fraud that cost the government millions of dollars. A judge also ordered him to pay $4 million in restitution.
The McBee Dynasty premiered in 2024 on Peacock. It moved to Bravo for season 2, which began airing in June 2025. While McBee Sr. was a major figure in the show’s first season, he appeared on briefly in season 2 because of his legal problems. Instead, the focus shifted to his four sons as they navigated their messy personal lives while also trying to manage the family’s business empire, which was on shaky ground.
