No one has ever accused the McBee family of failing to bring the drama. While patriarch Steven McBee Sr. has supplied the legal trouble, Steven McBee Jr. has handled the romantic complications on the family’s reality TV series. He kept up that role in the off-season, too. In late April, McBee Jr. used social media to accuse his then-girlfriend, Allie Eklund, of cheating. The Stagecoach incident took the internet by storm, and then everything fell quiet. Now, as Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty is set to premiere, fans can’t help but wonder where the former couple stands. As it turns out, they remain very far apart.

What happened at Stagecoach?

In November 2025, McBee Jr. hard-launched a new relationship, insisting he had found “the one” in Allie Eklund. The honeymoon phase wore off quickly. In April 2026, just five months later, the pair set out for Stagecoach together.

Things seemed to be going fine. Then McBee left the festival early, and the following morning he exploded on Instagram, accusing Eklund of cheating with a man named Drew Dodson, whom he publicly named in his Stories. He claimed he had been told the two were holding hands, grinding and dancing together in a “drunken stupor.”

Allie wasn’t interested in staying quiet

If McBee Jr. was hoping to get Eklund’s attention with his temper tantrum, he succeeded. She took to Instagram to fire back, shooting down his cheating allegations and revealing she had been blindsided by his post. She insisted she and the man he named are just friends and that none of what he claimed actually happened.

Eklund didn’t stop there. She said she had spent months protecting McBee and his ego, and accused him of being verbally abusive. She insisted this meltdown was not his first, even if it was his first public one over the relationship.

McBee later admitted he hadn’t handled the situation well and said he needed a digital break to work on his “anger.” He went on to claim he had entered therapy, but the damage with Eklund was done.

Where they stand now

McBee said he was remorseful for his behavior, but he stopped short of suggesting he wanted to work things out with Eklund. She, for her part, made it very clear she wasn’t interested in reconciliation, and she seems more than happy to put as much distance as possible between herself and the McBee family.

After his very public crashout, TMZ caught up with Eklund in California and asked about the odds of the two rekindling things. She was adamant that she did not want to get back together and had no plans to ever speak to the rancher again. She added that she has McBee blocked everywhere.

Fans itching for more won’t have to wait long. The whole ill-fated romance, collapse included, is set to play out on Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, which premieres June 15 on Bravo. For now, though, the verdict is clear: the Stagecoach incident marked the end of any amorous feelings between Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund.
