These co-hosts from ‘The View’ have openly talked about their GLP-1 usage
At 83, Joy Behar publicly shared that she has used a GLP‑1 medication and lost about 25 pounds as a result, according to People. Behar revealed her experience during a Feb. 18, 2026, episode of The View, joining co‑hosts in a candid on‑air discussion about their personal health journeys. While she didn’t disclose specifics about which drug she used, she was upbeat about the results and jokingly chimed in, “We all did it!” after fellow hosts shared their own weight‑loss successes.
So, who else discussed their GLP-1 usage on The View? Whoopi Goldberg admitted to using the class of medications. “I did it because I was almost 300 pounds, and I’m looking good now!” she chimed in.
Goldberg also discussed her use of Mounjaro in the past. “I just always felt like me. And then I saw me, and I thought, ‘Oh! That’s a lot of me!’” Goldberg previously stated.
Additionally, Savannah Chrisley, a guest host for the episode, admitted to using GLP-1s. “I lost 40 pounds,” she announced.
Aside from Goldberg and Behar, Sunny Hostin previously stated that she used GLP-1s for weight loss. Hostin said she used Mounjaro following 40 pounds of weight gain during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“I found that my cholesterol went up to 200 when I gained the extra weight,” Hostin noted in 2024, according to People. “And I use Mounjaro, and my cholesterol is 140 now. I feel better, I think I look better, and that’s what this is about for people.”
Ana Navarro addressed rumors of GLP-1 usage in 2023. Navarro denied the claims, according to People. The View co-host said she sought professional help and worked with a nutritionist and a medical supervisor to make lifestyle changes.
“Last August, I went to a wellness spa in Mexico called @rancholapuerta with two of my friends since grade school,” she posted to social media. “We had all turned 50 and wanted to be healthier. I spent time there learning to cook and eat healthier, reprogramming the way I think of my lifestyle, and being more active. We did all sorts of exercise classes for hours a day. When we came back to Miami, we were determined to continue some of our healthy habits.”
