The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 tell all kicked off on November 9 on TLC. But one of this season’s couples was noticeably absent from reunion stage.

Tigerlily and Adnan not part of ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?’ Season 9 tell all

Tigerlily and Adnan Abdelfattah are not participating the post-season gathering, which features cast members gathering together – and even sharing a house – as they revisit the drama from past episodes.

The pair’s absence from the tell all hasn’t been explained. Host Shaun Robinson simply informed viewers at the beginning for the first episode that they wouldn’t be participating.

Tigerlily and Adnan also did not appear in recent episodes of the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, leading some fans to speculate that TLC had fired them.

So far, Tigerlily has been vague about her and Adnan’s future with the 90 Day franchise. But in a post on her Instagram Story on November 10, she hinted that her relationship with TLC was over.

“I’ve used my voice to wake people up – loudly, consistently, and without fear,” she wrote. “Even when it came at a price.”

In a subsequent Q&A on her Instagram Story, one person questioned Tigerlily about the 90 Day reunion.

“Why didn’t you attend the 90 Day Fiancé tell all?” they asked.

“Don’t worry, you’ll see us on your screens again somewhere else,” she replied.

Why TLC may have fired Tigerlily and Adnan

In recent posts, Tigerlily has hinted that her and Adnan’s strong pro-Palestinian stance led to them being silenced. (Adnan is a practicing Muslim from Jordan; Tigerlily has not converted, but Adnan has said he’d prefer her to share his faith.)

“I am willing to take backlash for supporting Palestine,” Tigerlily wrote in November 5 social media update. “I don’t care if I’m targeted, cancelled, or denied work opportunities. Silence serves the oppressor.”

“This face wasn’t made for genocide gloss,” she added.

“Some people stay silent for a check,” she wrote on October 22. “Some of us speak because our humanity doesn’t come with a price tag.”

While Tigerlily has suggested she’s being targeted for her political beliefs, followers of the 90 Day franchise think it might have more to do with inflammatory comments from Adnan. Those include an anti-semitic post on his Instagram Story where he appeared to praise Adolf Hitler,  which was captured by Reddit users. In addition, two other Happily Ever After? Season 9 cast members – Alexei and Loren Brovarnik – have strong ties to Israel. They met while she was on a Birthright trip and he was the medic for her group. TLC may have wanted to avoid a potentially heated confrontation between the two couples over the current situation in Israel and Palestine.

The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 Tell All continues Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
