Todd and Julie Chrisley, best known as the dynamic duo behind the hit reality television series Chrisley Knows Best, rose to fame with their lavish lifestyle, quick wit, and tight-knit family values. Now, the Chrisleys are back in the spotlight after receiving a pardon from Donald Trump following their lengthy prison sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion. And fans noticed that Todd and Julie’s old Chrisley Confessions podcast episodes have been pulled. However, the couple seems to have reposted the original trailer for the podcast and teased a relaunch.

Todd and Julie Chrisley might be teasing the relaunch of their ‘Chrisley Confessions’ podcast

Hailing from Georgia, Todd and Julie Chrisley became household names through their portrayal of Southern charm mixed with unfiltered humor and a penchant for high-end living. However, the couple’s picture-perfect reality TV image unraveled in 2019 when they were indicted on multiple counts of bank fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy. In 2022, both were convicted and sentenced to federal prison — Todd receiving 12 years, and Julie 7. On May 28, 2025, the Chrisleys were released from prison early following a presidential pardon from Donald Trump.

Due to the pardon, the public has renewed attention on the Chrisley family. In 2018, Todd and Julie had a podcast titled Chrisley Confessions. According to Us Weekly, all episodes of the podcast have been removed from streaming services as of June 3, 2025. However, the couple seems to have reposted the trailer to advertise the podcast.

The brief trailer begins with Todd and Julie introducing themselves to their audience. “And now, because we wanted to speak directly to our fans, we have a new podcast coming out every Wednesday starting Aug. 29, called Chrisley Confessions,” Todd and Julie say. “Each week, we’ll be listening to your voicemails and giving you advice on parenting, life, and well, whatever else it is that you need advice on.”

Does the resurfaced trailer mean that the couple plans on returning to their podcast post-prison release? Fans will have to wait and see.

Todd and Julie Chrisley will need some time to readjust to their normal lives after their prison release. Savannah Chrisley spoke on her Unlocked podcast from PodcastOne about her parents’ acclimating to life at home.

“Yesterday was really fun,” Savannah, 27, said on her June 3 episode. “I cooked dinner for my entire family. I made steaks, pastas, salads, potatoes — we had a smorgasbord. My parents enjoyed it and loved it.”

Savannah detailed how she and her dad headed to Nordstrom, where they were swarmed by paparazzi. “We thought we were in the clear,” she said. “But no, the press followed us and were chasing us around. It was comical. That’s why I put that photo of me and Dad out there. I was like, ‘I’m not going to let them get the first picture. No, not happening.’ We had fun with that whole journey. Dad has not lost his sense of humor. He’s still as funky as ever.”

The famous couple is planning a reality TV comeback

Fans hoping to see Todd and Julie Chrisley back on the small screen can rejoice. During a press conference post-pardon, Todd confirmed that he and Julie began filming their new Lifetime reality series. According to Us Weekly, the new series focuses on Savannah Chrisley and her siblings fighting to free Todd and Julie from prison. The show allegedly wrapped up production before Donald Trump pardoned the famous couple.

“It’s going to be absolutely amazing because it follows us from beginning, middle, to end,” Savannah noted. “It started with us explaining the case and having lawyers on, and the advocacy work, to [now] Mom and Dad getting full presidential pardons.”
