Travis and Taylor’s Wedding Invitations Have a Leakproof Element
For two of the most famous people on the planet, keeping a wedding secret is proving to be no small feat. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are set to wed this year. While the famed couple has not shared details of their wedding, leaks and rumors abound. Apparently, the pair is going to great lengths to keep things quiet; in fact, an insider claims their invitations have a leakproof feature.
When are they getting married?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 via a joint Instagram post featuring photos from a floral garden proposal. The post captioned “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married” nearly broke the internet. The proposal went down after Swift appeared on New Heights, Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast, for the first time.
As soon as the pair announced their engagement, chatter about wedding plans began to trickle out. Early reports pointed to a June ceremony in Rhode Island. Rumors initially fixated on June 13 at the Ocean House resort near Swift’s Watch Hill mansion. Psychics pointed to the date, and fans suggested that it could be chosen in tribute to her well-known lucky number 13. The rumors have recently pivoted. Page Six now reports that the wedding will take place on July 3 in New York, with save-the-dates already sent.
Travis and Taylor are trying to keep things quiet with measures to prevent leaks
While Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding will be the event of the year, they are doing their best to keep things as private as possible. They have even developed a way to track leaks, an insider claims. An insider speaking to Entertainment Tonight recently revealed that the couple has sent out watermarked “Save the Date” cards. The invitations include each guest’s name. The decision was made so they can track who leaked the document if it ends up in the media.
Apparently, the watermarked invitations aren’t the only leakproofing measure the couple is reportedly taking. Rumors are swirling that guests have not been given venue information and will not receive venue information until the last minute. Additional insiders claim invitees must sign an NDA, even if they opt out of attending the big event.
Neither Travis, Taylor, nor their representatives have commented on the rumors.
