Travis Kelce’s New Gig With Six Flags, Explained
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is set to return to the NFL for yet another season. And fans can’t wait to see him play for the Chiefs once more. Rumors of retirement swirled around Kelce in 2025 following his engagement announcement to Taylor Swift. Now, the football player has a new gig — and this time, it’s with Six Flags. Here’s what to know.
Travis Kelce is Six Flags’ newest celebrity ambassador in 2026
Travis Kelce isn’t just taking on another NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs in the future. Now, he’s joining forces with Six Flags as their newest ambassador in 2026. According to Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, the tight end will collaborate to create digital content and support their marketing initiatives across all of their parks.
“Travis Kelce has been a lifelong fan of Six Flags, having grown up going to some of our most iconic parks with family and friends, so he is a natural ambassador to represent the Six Flags brand across North America,” said John Reilly, president and chief executive officer, according to WGRZ. “His fun-loving personality, commitment to excellence, and passion for the game have contributed to three Super Bowl titles on the field, and we’re confident they will score big with our guests as well.”
Kelce also mentioned that he’s “excited” to join the Six Flags team. He has fond memories of heading to the park and riding the attractions. In 2025, he also invested in Six Flags, according to TMZ.
“The Six Flags team is creating even more rides and attractions as it takes guest engagement to a new level,” he said. “I look forward to helping them continue to build excitement for their unrivaled portfolio of parks and introduce a new generation of fans to the unforgettable experiences.”
The NFL star is expanding his reach beyond football
Travis Kelce has become much more than just an NFL star. Off the field, he has built a diverse business and media portfolio that includes his own clothing brand, Tru Kolors, and a hugely lucrative New Heights podcast deal with Amazon’s Wondery. He’s also become an equity investor in major companies and brands aside from Six Flags. Additionally, Kelce has dipped his toe into acting, appearing in films and TV shows.
Kelce’s mix of business acumen and brand partnerships adds to his financial empire. And it positions the NFL players as a cultural figure well beyond the gridiron. The Chiefs player’s association with Six Flags officially serves as another smart move beyond football for when he does finally decide to retire.
Travis Kelce is officially signed on for another season with the Kansas City Chiefs
Travis Kelce surprised some NFL observers by signing on to return to the Kansas City Chiefs for his 14th season in 2026, opting to delay retirement. He agreed to a one‑year contract worth up to $15 million, a deal that keeps the three‑time Super Bowl champion tight end in Kansas City. He also credited his fiancée, pop superstar Taylor Swift, with helping motivate his return by reminding him of the importance of pursuing his passion.
Previously, Kelce discussed coming back to football on the New Heights podcast.
“If my body can heal up and rest up and I can feel confident that I can go out there and give it another 18, 20, 21-week run, I think, I would do it in a heartbeat,” he said. “I’m just trying to figure it all out myself, and I’ll do that with the family and friends.”
