The Duchess of Sussex has one less celebrity supporter in her corner. Bravo star Stassi Schroeder says she’s done defending Meghan Markle after what she describes as a major snub.

In the past, the Vanderpump Rules alum has backed the Duchess of Sussex “when no one else did,” she said on a recent episode of her Stassi podcast. 

“I have filmed videos about it. I’ve commented on all the things, I literally had my f*cking PR reach out,” she shared. 

But recently, Schroeder discovered that Markle’s lifestyle brand As Ever had sent a gift to Claudia Oshry, who hosts The Toast and has criticized the former Suits star. Schroeder, on the other hand, did not receive a gift box. The one-time SURver says she can’t overlook the slight. 

“My feelings are hurt, and I’m a toxic fan. … I was a toxic fan that’s now a toxic hater,” Schroeder said.

Schroeder has a theory about what’s behind the snub. The With Love, Meghan host just doesn’t respect her, the Vanderpump Villa star said. 

“The way she moves through social media, I think that she’s stuck in 2017, and she just thinks I’m a lowly reality person,” Schroeder shared. “That’s what I think, and I am furious, and this is the last straw. I’m not watching her [Netflix] show anymore.”

Schroeder also theorized that Markle was too focused on trying to win over “haters” like Oshry.

“The strategy to pay more attention to your haters than your fans is so f*cking batsh*t crazy to me. [It’s her] way of trying to control the narrative,” Schroeder declared. “I think she’s controlling.”

Markle has previously sent As Ever gift boxes to a number of her celeb friends and acquaintances, including Kris Jenner, Zoe Saldana, Mindy Kaling, and Tracy Robbins. 

The irritated reality TV star added that she’s not longer interested in supporting Markle – whom she described as a “control freak” – in any way. 

“I’m not going to talk about her anymore,” she vowed. “I’m going to unfollow her right now. Literally, I’m unfollowing her. Done!”

Earlier this year, Schroeder supported Markle after the first season of With Love, Meghan debuted to lukewarm reviews. She agreed that the slick lifestyle show wasn’t relatable to the average person, but said that was the point.  

“I wanna see this unattainable, beautiful life of the duchess making fruit tarts and what China she uses,” Schroeder said in an episode of her Pop Culture Hour podcast (via Us Weekly). “That’s not my life and I want the escapism of something that’s so aspirational that I don’t even think I could attain it … It’s a fantasy.”
