‘When Calls the Heart’ Star Erin Krakow Expecting Baby With Co-Star Ben Rosenbaum
The When Calls the Heart family is growing! Series star Erin Krakow is expecting her first child with husband and co-star Ben Rosenbaum.

The couple announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post on November 26.
“So much to be grateful for!!!” Krakow captioned a photobooth snap of her and Rosenbaum showing off their ultrasound images, as well as adorable image of their dog Willoughby wearing a “big brother” shirt.
Krakow plays Elizabeth Thornton on the long-running Hallmark Channel series. Season 13 of the show is set to premiere in early January 2026. Rosenbaum plays Mike Hickam. The couple announced that they tied the knot earlier this year.

The baby news was met with a flood of congratulations from other Hallmark stars.
“So much love for the 4 of you!” commented fellow When Calls the Heart actor Pascale Hutton.
“I love you guys!!!” commented Andrea Brooks, who plays Faith Carter on the heartwarming period drama.
“CONGRATULATIONS!!!” wrote Chesapeake Shores alum Robert Earl Buckley.
“Congratulations! What wonderful parents you’ll be!” chimed in Kevin McGarry, who plays Krakow’s onscreen love interest Mountie Nathan Grant.
“CRYING! That is going to be one lucky baby,” added When Calls the Heart alum Kayla Wallace, who is married to McGarry.
Krakow and Rosenbaum’s baby news comes just days after McGarry and Wallace (who now appears in Paramount+’s Landman) confirmed that they are expecting their first child.
“We can’t wait to meet you, baby. Premiering 2026,” the pair wrote in their November 11 Instagram announcement.
When Calls the Heart Season 13 premieres Sunday, January 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Hallmark Channel. Episodes stream the next day on Hallmark+.
