Will Smith didn’t post a birthday tribute for son Trey Smith

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith often post content featuring their two children, Willow and Jaden Smith. On Oct. 31, 2025, Will and Jada posted a sweet birthday tribute to Willow, who turned 25.

The post features Willow as a child in a cardboard coffin. She slowly opens the coffin as Jaden stands above her and asks, “What’s in there? Who are you?”

Willow answers the question with a vampiric lilt, eliciting a laugh from her family. As she closes the coffin, Jada says, “Goodnight. I’ll wake you up in 300 years.”

Trey Smith’s birthday was on Nov. 11, and Will didn’t post a tribute for his eldest son. While some fans may find this suspicious, there’s a good chance that Trey doesn’t want to be in the Instagram spotlight with a post from his dad.

She also opened up about Trey’s first impression of Jada Pinkett Smith. “When Trey came home, I said, ‘You met Miss Jada. Did you like her?’ He said, ‘Mommy, I really liked her.’ And isn’t that what you want?” Zampino explained. “Like, if he came home and said, ‘I didn’t like her mom, she was mean to me,’ that would’ve broken my heart.”
