The federal sex trafficking trial for hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs entered its fourth week in New York City. On June 5, 2025, a woman identified as “Jane” took the stand, detailing her coerced participation in “freak-off” sex parties. Her testimony supports key charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, with prosecutors alleging that Combs forced her across state lines for sex with male escorts. The trial has also included dramatic courtroom moments, such as a woman “screaming” before her prompt removal. Here’s what to know about what occurred.

A woman was reportedly ‘screaming’ and ‘cussing’ during Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial continues to surprise reporters in the courtroom. During the trial’s fourth week, a woman was reportedly observed screaming obscenities before getting promptly removed. Law&Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner reported on the incident.

According to Millner, the courtroom began arguing about the witness who testified under the pseudonym “Mia” on June 3, 2025. Then, out of nowhere, the reporter heard “screaming going on.”

“And it’s from a woman who we’ve been kind of noticing has been causing some troubles here and there, just as far as court goes,” Millner continued. “She was removed from the overflow room during jury selection, and she was removed during the main courtroom today during these arguments.”

Millner notes that she and other reporters noticed that the woman typically enters the courtroom in an MTA jacket. This makes her easy to spot. Millner was not surprised to see the woman causing trouble given her previous behavior.

“From what I heard, it was just cussing, it was yelling, mainly from her,” the reporter continued. “And then I saw four marshals try to grab her. She was just saying things along the lines of, ‘Oh, use your gun against me,’ that kind of thing. … From our understanding, after this incident … she was just kind of dismissed from the courthouse altogether and likely won’t be able to come back in.”

The judge scolded Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for nodding at the jury

In addition to the screaming woman drama, the judge scolded Sean “Diddy” Combs. On June 5, 2025, Combs was observed nodding and attempting to make eye contact with jurors. This notably occurred during the cross-examination of Bryana “Bana” Bongolan. Judge Arun Subramanian issued a stern warning, cautioning that such conduct could lead to Combs’ removal from the courtroom.

“I’m surprised that the judge has kind of been noticing this too, because that is one thing that I’ve been noticing whenever the jury comes into the courtroom, and even when they exit the courtroom, is that Diddy is kind of looking at them,” Law&Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner noted. “He is looking at them and nodding his head at them. … He is kind of giving visible reactions to things he doesn’t like that are being said on the witness stand.”

Matthew Fletcher, Suge Knight’s former lawyer, says Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial “could go either way” at this point.

“They have not proven that there’s been any corporation or organization that was organized for the purposes of satisfying P. Diddy’s sexual needs,” Fletcher said on Piers Morgan Uncensored. ” … I don’t know if he’s walking on everything, but I can tell you, I have real issues with the RICO part of this.”

Fletcher noted that Combs’ current “jeopardy” lies in the “horrendous conduct of what he did to that woman in that video.” The lawyer referred to the video of Combs’ violence against Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
