The Worst ’90 Day Fiancé’ Cast Members of All Time
Some people watch 90 Day Fiancé for the romance. Others tune in for the drama.
For more than a decade, the TLC reality series (and its many spinoffs) has chronicled stories of international love. Some couples get their happily ever after. But many others flame out. Along the way, viewers often witness some truly bizarre behavior. While some 90 Day stars are merely quirky, others are walking red flags. Sometimes, their issues are apparent on the show, but in other cases, problems emerge after their time on TV. Whether they’re known for their bad behavior on screen or off, here are seven of the worst 90 Day Fiancé cast members of all time.
Leida Margaretha and Eric Rosenbrook
Leida Margaretha and her husband Eric Rosenbrook appeared in 90 Day Fiancé Season 6, which aired in 2018. The couple was controversial from the start, with Leida shocking viewers with her demands that Eric kick his teenage daughter Tasha out of their home. She also wanted Eric to stop paying child support. The two left the show after one season amid serious online backlash, but they’ve continued to make headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Leida, who is originally from the Philippines, has been arrested multiple times in Wisconsin on charges of bail jumping, identify theft, fraud, domestic abuse, and other crimes. Eric has had his own run-ins with the law, including charges for domestic violence. But the couple’s story took a particularly dark and tragic turn when their infant daughter died in July 2025. The death of the 5-week-old baby has since been ruled non-accidental, People reports. As of April 2026, no charges have been filed in the case, and Leida’s lawyer told People she “adamantly disagrees” with the determination about her daughter’s death.
Angela Deem
Angela Deem’s big personality and lack of a filter made her an excellent candidate for reality TV. But behind the scenes, there were big problems with this Georgia grandmother’s toxic relationship with her much-young Nigerian beau, Michael Ilesanmi. Angela was volatile and jealous, and her violent outbursts – including tossing a drink in Michael’s face and throwing a cake at him – nearly led them to break up multiple times. While the two eventually tied the knot in his home country, it took years for him to get a visa that allowed him to move to the United States.
Once Michael was in the U.S., his and Angela’s marriage quickly fell apart. He fled their home in February 2024, just a few months after moving in with his wife. She claimed he was missing and said she was concerned for his safety. When he eventually resurfaced, he told a much different story, claiming in his divorce filing that his wife was abusive. After what they’d seen play out on TV, many 90 Day viewers sided with Michael. Meanwhile, Angela asked for annulment, alleging that Michael had engaged in marriage fraud. They finally finalized their divorce in March 2026.
Geoffrey Paschel
Geoffrey Paschel appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 4 along with his girlfriend Varya Malina, which aired in 2020. But once viewers learned more about Geoffrey’s past, they wondered why TLC had decided to include him in the show.
In June 2019, months before the premiere of his 90 Day season, Geoffrey was arrested for violently attacking the woman he dated prior to Varya. The victim said Geoffrey slammed her head into a wall, threw her to the ground, and took her cell phone and refused to allow her to leave, People reported. In 2021, he was convicted of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, and interference with emergency calls. He’s currently serving 18 years in prison. One reason for the stiff sentence? Geoffrey had prior convictions for possession with intent to sell a controlled substance, as well as two convictions on federal drug trafficking charges.
Michael Eloshway
Michael Eloshway was part of the cast of the first season of 90 Day Fiancé in 2014, along with his wife-to-be Aziza Mazhidova, who was from Russia. The two, who lived in Ohio, eventually married and had a daughter.
Roughly 10 years after his 90 Day stint, Michael was convicted for possessing child sexual abuse material. A jury found that he had downloaded thousands of illegal images between February 2022 and March 2023. He is currently serving 10 years in prison.
Paul Staehle
A chaotic, toxic relationship guaranteed Paul Staehle and his wife Karine appearances on multiple 90 Day shows, including 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? One recurring issue for the couple was Paul’s criminal past, which included serving 18 months in prison for arson. An ex-girlfriend had also filed a restraining order against him. His criminal history — which he delayed in disclosing to Karine — led to delays in obtaining a visa that would allow him to move to Brazil to be with his wife.
While Paul and Karine were eventually able to be together in the U.S., they faced serious challenges. At one point, Karine accused her husband of abuse and said he was holding her green card hostage, according to reports. They were also engaged in a nasty custody battle which resulted in their two kids being placed in foster care. Currently, one of Paul’s relatives has custody of this kids, In Touch reports, and he and Karine are no longer together. Karine is living in Kentucky and trying to regain custody of her children, while Paul has relocated to Brazil.
Loren Allen
Many of the most-disliked 90 Day stars appeared on earlier seasons of the show. But Loren Allen, who starred in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 7, is a newer addition to the list of worst cast members. This 30something from Las Vegas moved to the Philippines to be with his transgender girlfriend, Faith. But from his first appearance on screen, there were signs that he didn’t respect her or their relationship.
The sporadically employed and technically homeless Loren explained that he wanted to move abroad permanently because of financial struggles in the United States. That news came as a surprise to the sweet-natured Faith, who was hoping that they could start their life together in the U.S. The red flags piled up from there. Loren arrived in the Philippines with hardly any money, expecting his girlfriend, who worked at a hotel, to support him. He pressured Faith to become intimate while also blindsiding her with the news that he had been sleeping with other people back in Vegas. He also said that expected an open relationship. (She thought they were monogamous.) One of those partners had given Loren an STD, for which he was still being treated. All that gave viewers – and Faith – major ick, and she and Loren eventually ended their short-lived relationship.
