A recent YouTube and Apple Music hack recently led to a wave of unauthorized posts on the platforms. Many artists were impacted, but Drake and D4vd’s posts have garnered the most attention. Drake shared Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us,” and D4vd shared a song called “I DID IT” amid allegations that he murdered Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

Drake shared ‘Not Like Us’ after a YouTube hack

In 2024, Lamar released “Not Like Us,” a blistering diss track aimed at Drake. In it, Lamar accuses Drake of pedophilia. It went on to win five Grammys and effectively crowned Lamar the winner of his feud with Drake. 

During a recent YouTube hack, Drake’s account made an unauthorized upload of the song. Leaked music also appeared on the page, as well as a fake track called “Kendrick a Meanie (Diss).” All of these uploads have since been removed.

D4vd also made a post 

The singer D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, will soon go on trial for the murder of Hernandez. In 2025, he allegedly killed and dismembered the 14-year-old, with whom he was having an illegal relationship. Following a preliminary hearing, a judge ruled that prosecutors have a strong enough case to bring the matter to trial.

Burke’s Apple Music page displayed three unreleased songs entitled “I DID IT,” “I’m Sorry, I Love You Celeste,” and ‘I’ll See You in Hell, Celeste.” The uploads included an image of the car where Hernandez’s body was discovered.

What other artists were impacted by the YouTube hack?

Drake and Burke are not the only artists who made unauthorized posts during the hack. Playboi Carti’s YouTube page reportedly posted an unreleased album along with more than 20 leaked tracks. Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, also uploaded the songs “HH” and “Mama’s Boyfriend.” Kendrick Lamar’s channel also briefly showed two unreleased tracks. 

Frank Ocean, Michael Jackson, Ken Carson, Quadeca, Juice WRLD, Future, Travis Scott, and The Weeknd were all also reportedly impacted.
