Will Blake Moynes join the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast? ABC hasn’t made any official announcements regarding the next season of BIP, but fans are hopeful they’ll see a few men from Katie Thurston’s season.

Blake Moynes and Katie Thurston got engaged on Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. Moynes joined the season late after learning that Thurston was the lead. Moynes’ first joined The Bachelorette during Clare Crawley’s season. But when Crawley left early with Dale Moss, Moynes struggled to hit it off with Crawley’s replacement, Tayshia Adams.

Moynes and Thurston broke off their engagement on Oct 25, 2021, People reports. As for Paradise, Moynes said joining the cast remains possible but unlikely. Yahoo reports he answered a fan via Instagram who asked him about the possibility.

“Duh, Paradise! Count it down! Can’t wait to get on that beach, get back into it,” he answered sarcastically. “Probably not, never say never, but not unless it was a great opportunity for something, but I’d like to not.”

Will Blake Moynes be the next Bachelor?

Blake Moynes says joining the Bachelor in Paradise cast seems unlikely. But what about The Bachelor? Could fans see Moynes take over as the next lead?

As of November 2021, Moynes confirmed he has no interest in taking over as the next lead. “No,” he told the Talking It Out With Bachelor Nation podcast, according to Us Weekly. “I am in no way prepared to go through meeting 30 women, especially after all that.”

“My ego’s hurt right now,” he added. “I feel like an idiot with how things played out. When you’re so sure about something, and you feel like you found your rock, to all of a sudden be able to turn that rock and try to find another one within the time frame that we have on [The Bachelor]? No.”

Fans worried Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 was canceled after rumors suggested filming for The Bachelorette 2022 might get in the way. The Bachelorette 2022 features two Bachelorettes — Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. With two leads and a July release date, some worried this would leave no room for Bachelor in Paradise filming.

Reality Steve gave an update regarding the cancellation rumors, though. “Rumors started on TikTok about BIP being cancelled are totally false,” the spoiler guru posted. He then noted production had already started the early interview process for the Bachelor in Paradise cast.

Paradise has always filmed from around June 7th-28th, and I haven’t heard any differently for this season either,” he added. ” … From everything I’ve heard, we know Bachelorette will premiere on July 11th, then Paradise will air right afterward like it always does, just will be a little later than in years past.”
