Variety reports MTV’s The Challenge fans are about to see the universe explode like never before. CBS The Challenge will likely take MTV’s format and bring it to the popular network as well as Paramount+. Paramount+ already hosts The Challenge: All Stars, too. All Stars brings the most popular contestants from past seasons of MTV’s The Challenge back to the competition to duke it out for $500,000.

Additionally, Paramount+ plans to launch international versions of the show, such as The Challenge: Argentina, The Challenge: Australia, and The Challenge: U.K.

CBS The Challenge won’t feature the MTV cast fans know and love. Instead, the CBS version of the show will likely bring reality TV favorites from CBS shows, like Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother, to compete.

Once all three international versions of the show and the CBS version air, Paramount+ will host a global competition with the winners called The Challenge: War of the Worlds.

New CBS The Challenge spoilers are here — and it seems at least one male cast member has already gotten the boot. So, who went home?

According to spoilers from GamerVev and PinkRose via Reddit, Javonny Vega went home. It’s unclear if he was the first male eliminated in the competition, but he’s the first confirmed. Javonny got his start on Love Island Season 3.

He’s not the only contestant reportedly competing from Love Island, either. Cashay Proudfoot, Cely Vazquez, Justine Ndiba, Kyra Green, and Shannon St. Clair joined the CBS The Challenge cast for the women and all originated on Love Island. The men who joined from Love Island include Cinco Holland Jr. and Cashel Barnett.

Some fans on Reddit don’t have hope for the Love Island crew. “I can see Love Island getting targeted since it’s outside of the main three CBS shows,” a fan wrote. “The contestants from Survivor, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race tend to interact more with each other versus Love Island, which is on its own.”
