Hallmark's May 2022 schedule includes the premiere of 'Warming Up to You' with Cindy Busby, plus the finale of 'When Calls the Heart' Season 9.

Hallmark Channel is springing more movies on viewers in May 2022. The network’s upcoming lineup includes all-new flicks featuring Cindy Busby and Andrea Brooks. Plus, the When Calls the Heart Season 9 finale airs May 22.

‘Warming Up to You’ with Cindy Busby premieres May 7

Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell co-star in Warming Up to You. Busby plays Kate, a fitness instructor who leaves L.A. to take a job at her friend’s wellness retreat. One of her new clients ends up being Rick (Russell) an A-list actor who needs to get in shape for his upcoming movie. Kate and Rick bond, but their friendship is put at risk when Rick’s co-star Liza (Caitlin Stryker) arrives at the retreat.

Warming Up to You airs Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.

Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier star in ‘Road Trip Romance’

In Road Trip Romance, a woman named Margo (Natalie Hall) needs to get to Wichita for her sister Blair’s (Julia Brosellino) wedding. She ends up traveling with Alden (Corey Sevier) her old high school rival who is headed home for his dad’s retirement celebration. As they make their way to Kansas, they slowly realize that their dislike of each other might be masking a strong attraction.

Road Trip Romance airs Saturday, May 14 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.

‘Romance to the Rescue airs May 21

Kyra (Brooks) is a goal-oriented grocery store employee who is immediately drawn to Trevor (Nathan Witte), the new manager at the supermarket where she works. Trevor seems to be exactly what she’s looking for in a guy, but things get complicated when she meets Kevin (Marcus Rosner), who owns the shelter from which Kyra adopts her new dog.

Romance to the Rescue airs Saturday, May 21 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.

The ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 9 finale airs May 22

When Calls the Heart’s ninth season comes to a close on Sunday, May 22. So far this season, Hope Valley has dealt with growing pains as more people and businesses move to town, while a deal to sell the oil company has also revived memories of the mine disaster. Plus, Nathan (Kevin McGarry) is moving on after heartbreak and getting to know the new-in-town pharmacist Mei Sou (Amanda Wong), and Lucas (Chris McNally) and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) have seen their relationship deepen as they spend more time together as a couple.

The When Calls the Heart Season 9 finale airs Sunday, May 22 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel.

Two new movies premiere on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries also has two new movies on the schedule for May 2022.

In Heart of the Matter, Aimeé Teegarden plays a young cardiologist who is left shaken after the accidental death of one of her patients. As she deals with the loss, she also has to confront the patient’s grieving mother, which leads her to question her future as a doctor and her relationship with Patrick (Andrew Zachar). It airs at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 15.

Torrey DeVitto and Niall Matter star in the time-travel romance Rip in Time. DeVito plays an organic farmer who meets a man (Matter) who claims to be from 1787. It airs at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 22.
