Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are among the richest celebrity couples in the world. With a combined net worth of $750 million, they can pretty much buy whatever they want and have proven to spare no expense when it comes to the things they desire.

Most recently, Lopez and Rodriguez purchased a sprawling $40 million mansion in Miami, Florida that couldn’t be more fitting for a couple of their stature. Let’s take a closer look together.

Inside Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s $40 million mansion

TMZ reported on Aug. 14 that Lopez and Rodriguez had scooped up a Miami mansion described as “super-luxurious.” Located on the star-studded Star Island, it boasts two full floors and 40,000 square feet of property. The indoor features include 10 bedrooms, at least 10 bathrooms, an industrial-style chef’s kitchen, a library, and more, per Realtor.com.

Outdoor details include an oversized pool with a jacuzzi, a bar area, a guesthouse, and access to the Atlantic Ocean, where Lopez, Rodriguez, and their four children can swim, do water sports, and more. The home appears to be surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, water, and Miami hotspots.

“The home is timeless and exudes elegance throughout with exquisite finishes, masterful craftsmanship, high ceilings, and expansive living areas,” real estate agent Jill Eber told The Robb Report (via The Daily Mail). “It epitomizes true indoor/outdoor living, offering the most sought-after mesmerizing views of the Miami skyline, as well as magnificent sunsets.”

As noted by TMZ, it is unclear if the couple intends to live there or if the mansion is simply an investment property. As of writing, neither Lopez nor Rodriguez has commented on the purchase.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are ready to settle down

If anything, the mansion news shows how serious these two are in their relationship. The pair began dating in March 2017 following Lopez’s split from Drake and got engaged on their second anniversary. E! News reports that they were supposed to marry over the summer in an Italian ceremony but had to make changes due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which continues with no end in sight.

“They have been struggling for weeks over this decision, but with no return to normalcy in the near future, the couple felt postponing the wedding was the safest and smartest choice,” a source told the outlet in May. “Guests have recently been notified that the wedding will not be happening in late summer as anticipated.”

As the crisis wages on, the couple has been hunkered down at their home in Coral Gables, Miami, according to HELLO! Magazine. Rodriguez reportedly built the 11,000-square-foot property from the ground up after purchasing a plot of land in the area in 2013 for $2.3 million. They both have posted photos and videos from inside the mansion during the coronavirus quarantine, available on their respective social media pages.
