A lot occurred on The Challenge: Total Madness — and Jenna Compono’s relationship with Zach Nichols entered the spotlight. Compono and Nichols are now engaged, but their fight on TV showed Nichols in a seriously negative light. Now, fans and fellow competitors are judging the romance.

Compono regularly defends her relationship on social media and condemns those who want to judge her. Here’s what she told an ex-Challenge star via Twitter.

Jenna Compono and Jemmye Carroll duked it out via Twitter over Zach Nichols

On Total Madness, Nichols told Compono he searched through her phone and discovered texts between Compono and other men from years ago. This started a raging fight between the couple — and it resulted in Nichols threatening to throw Compono out of their home if she didn’t leave the game and make things right. Compono didn’t leave, but it certainly put her in a negative headspace.

Along with many fans, former Challenge competitor Jemmye Carroll commented on Nichols and Compono’s relationship this season — and it started a major feud. Carroll originally came at Nichola via Twitter, and Nichols made some low blows about Carroll’s late boyfriend and ex-Challenge competitor, Ryan Knight. From there, Compono was added into the mix.

“You tweeted at Zach mentioning me … You’re tired of it yet you still find the need to tweet about it,” Compono tweeted at Carroll. “I’m done with this Jemmye idk wtf happened with you that your this rude now and it’s unfortunate bc u were cool. Now I see ur low blow tweets when all did was defend myself.”

Compono called out another ex-‘Challenge’ star

It looks like Carroll isn’t the only one making comments regarding Compono and Nichols’ relationship. A Challenge fan account posted about potential contestants for season 36, and Trishelle Cannatella got involved in the conversation. Cannatella competed on The Gauntlet, The Inferno, and Rivals II.

“Make sure you bring back @JennaCompono,” one fan commented on the post.

Cannatella then commented, “I don’t even know who this person is except that she dated Zach.

To that, another account tagged Cannatella and wrote, “Such a toxic relationship. You don’t want to know @TrishelleC.”

Compono saw all these exchanges and added her own tweet to the mix.

“Well you obviously do if you feel the need to comment/like a nasty tweet on my relationship,” Compono appeared to say back to Cannatella. “I ACTUALLY had no idea who you were until I asked Zach he said ‘nobody’s heard of you since you dissapeered into a pool of Xanax.'”

Fans want Compono to let the Twitter feuds go

‘The Challenge’: Jenna Compono Said She’s Now in Therapy With Zach Nichols

While many of Compono’s fans are supportive of her comeback, others think she should let it all go.

“Jenna don’t fall into their game of attacking back. Even through Zach,” a fan wrote in response to Compono’s tweet. “Rise above them.”

To that, Compono tweeted back, “I am tired of people saying whatever they want about something they know nothing about.”

“Girl you know you’re in a toxic relationship that’s why you get so offended,” another fan tweeted back. “I don’t know this girl, but she’s right!”

“All she said was she didn’t know who you were… Ya know I used to root for you but you’ve become rather vicious and cold,” another wrote. “Kind of terrible to watch two people who have a platform for good bash someone that had addiction issues that didn’t even come for you in the first place.”

We know Compono is tired of all the attention she gets for her relationship, but it doesn’t look like it’s slated to stop anytime soon. We’ll have to wait and see if she and Nichols return to future Challenge seasons.
