Scooter Braun manages several stars, including Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato

Manager Scooter Braun is best known for his work with famous clients like Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, J Balvin, and Ariana Grande. He also had Kanye West as a client at one time, who famously tweeted, “I no longer have a manager. I can’t be managed,” after parting ways with Braun. Braun has cultivated the careers of several stars, catapulting them to the heights of fame, making a fortune for both himself and his clients in the process.

The music manager is also known for his feud with Taylor Swift. In 2019, Braun acquired the master recordings of Swift’s first six albums in his company Ithaca Holdings’ purchase of Big Machine Records. Swift shared a scathing Tumblr post in which she claimed she was never given the opportunity to purchase her own masters and accused Braun of “incessant, manipulative bullying” for years.

Justin Bieber’s manager broke a record by selling his Texas mansion for $18.5 million in Bitcoin

On Mar. 1, The Wall Street Journal reported that Scooter Braun sold his waterfront mansion in Austin, Texas, for about $18.5 million. Wayne Vaughan, CEO of blockchain startup Tierion, purchased the luxury home. Braun acquired the property just two years ago in 2020, but the celebrity talent manager will not be homeless: in 2021, he bought a mansion in Los Angeles for $62 million.

The 1.9-acre Texas property is located on Lake Austin, about 10 miles from downtown Austin. The home boasts six bedrooms, a guest house, a pool, and a private dock.

According to Crypto Potato, Braun was paid in Bitcoin. The sale of his Austin mansion marked the biggest cryptocurrency real estate transaction in the history of Texas and one of the largest in the country to date.
