The latest installment into Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is just around the corner. And a few days ahead of the Eternals theatrical release, Marvel gave fans a sneak peek at the film. In the new Eternals clip, Kingo, played by Kumail Nanjiani, learns of the Deviants’ return on the set of a Bollywood movie.

Marvel releases new clip of ‘Eternals’

During Good Morning America on the morning of Nov. 1, four days before the premiere of Eternals, Kumail Nanjiani visited the show to discuss the upcoming film. A sneak peek of the movie was previewed during the show, which heavily featured Nanjiani’s character, Kingo.

In the exclusive new clip, Kingo is on the set of his latest Bollywood movie, “The Legend of Ikaris.” As many know, Ikaris, played by Richard Madden, is one of the Eternals. Ikaris, along with Sersi and Sprite, played by Gemma Chan and Lia McHugh, respectively, visit Kingo on the set. Kingo seems happy to see his old friends until Ikaris informs him that the Deviants have returned. That’s when his expression changes completely.

We have a feeling that this wasn’t the news that Kingo hoped for when his “friends from college” visited him on his Bollywood film set. You can watch Kumail Nanjiani in the Eternals clip below.

Kumail Nanjiani plays Kingo in ‘Eternals’

In Eternals, Kumail Nanjiani plays Kingo, an Eternal with the power to project cosmic energy projectiles from his hands. To blend in on Earth, Kingo becomes a Bollywood film star, seen in the above clip.

Per ComicBook.com, Kingo might have a connection to the Avengers. Nanjiani said, “[Director] Chloé [Zhao] had it all mapped out, and she had a very specific sense of… Because the thing is, Eternals have sort of been in hiding, right? So they haven’t been going around talking to Iron Man and Captain America and all those people. They’ve been pretending to be normal human beings. But it makes sense that my character would have met another character who’s not from Earth either.”

He continued, “I’m trying to be vague. I don’t know what I’m allowed to say or not. So I think that was all part of the stuff, so that even though Eternals really is a standalone movie, you want to feel the presence and the reality of the rest of the MCU around it. And Chloé is such a nerd with an encyclopedic knowledge of Marvel and the MCU. So she was really excited about dropping these references in.”
