Megan Fox Said Machine Gun Kelly ‘Belonged to the Streets’ and Wasn’t Monogamous When They Started Dating
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are engaged and possibly married, but there was a time when their relationship wasn’t that serious. Here’s what Fox said about how the musician wasn’t monogamous at the beginning of their romance.

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox got together in early 2020 while working on the film Midnight in the Switchgrass. They had met briefly at a party years prior, but they didn’t connect until they were on set together. The musician later revealed that he only took the movie role so he could get to know Fox.
Fox was in the process of divorcing Brian Austin Green, with whom she shares three children. Machine Gun Kelly has one daughter with an ex-girlfriend.
Fox appeared in Machine Gun Kelly’s May 2020 “Bloody Valentine” music video, and the two stars quickly became inseparable. The actor called the musician her “twin flame” and said their relationship is “handled for us by our ancestors and the spirits and energies that are watching over us.”

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are committed to each other now, but according to the actor, there was a time when the guitarist wasn’t monogamous in their relationship.
In a July 2021 interview with InStyle, Fox explained the beginning of her romance with the musician (whose real name is Colson Baker).
“One of the first things I did with Colson after we did that movie together, I was back here for a couple of weeks, and we were seeing each other but not dating exclusively by any means – on his end,” Fox said. “I only date one person at a time, but he belonged to the streets. That’s for sure.”
She said they fell in love around the time she starred in his “Bloody Valentine” music video. “He asked me to do his music video, and in one of the scenes, he was totally naked in a red sauna with nothing but duct tape on,” Fox described. “And that was fun. And we’ve been in love ever since.”
The musician proposed to the actor in January
Machine Gun Kelly might not have been monogamous in the beginning of his relationship with Megan Fox, but he is now. The musician proposed to the actor after nearly two years of dating.
“‘yes, in this life and every life’ 💍,” he captioned an Instagram video of Fox’s hand flashing her diamond and emerald engagement ring. “beneath the same branches we fell in love under, i brought her back to ask her to marry me.”
And on May 15, the musician dedicated the song “Twin Flame” to Fox at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. Before singing, he referred to Fox as his “wife.” And he said the end of his performance was for their “unborn child.”
