Netflix’s Ozark Season 4 Part 2 trailer is finally here, and fans can’t believe the spoilers that the trailer seemingly shared. At the end of Ozark Season 4 Part 1, Ruth Langmore’s cousin, Wyatt Langmore, died at the hands of Javi Elizonndro — Omar Navarro’s nephew. Now, the new trailer shows trouble for the Byrde family as well as Javi and Navarro. Does Navarro die in Ozark Season 4? Here’s what we think based on the evidence.

The ‘Ozark’ Season 4 Part 2 trailer shows Ruth Langmore killing Javi Elizonndro
Ozark Season 4 Part 2 concludes the saga of Wendy and Marty Byrde. Since the first season, Marty connected with Ruth Langmore until she helped their business associated with a Mexican drug cartel. Unfortunately, Ruth working with the Byrdes led her to a world of pain. Her father and her uncle died, as did her cousin, Wyatt, in Ozark Season 4 Part 1.
Wyatt’s death shocked Ruth, and she threatened the Byrde family at the end of season 4 part 1 after she discovered he was shot. Jonah Byrde ends up telling Ruth who shot her cousin. Javi, Omar Navarro’s nephew, shot both Wyatt and Darlene Snell.
Now, in the Ozark Season 4 Part 2 trailer, it looks like Ruth takes revenge on Javi. A scene from the trailer shows Ruth wearing a hoodie and quickly approaching Javi on the street. She then takes out a gun and kills him in plain sight.

From the looks of the Ozark Season 4 Part 2 trailer, it looks like Javi’s death is certainly going to happen before the show ends. But what about Omar Navarro? Does Navarro die in Ozark?
In season 4 part 1, Navarro agreed to work with the FBI in order to maintain his freedom. He was even willing to give up his nephew, Javi, in order to keep himself out of prison. Unfortunately, Maya, the FBI agent who once worked with the Byrdes, went against Navarro’s wishes and had him arrested. Wendy then tells Navarro she has a plan to get him out of jail.
The new trailer shows Marty telling Navarro he’ll go to Mexico and reestablish his “control.” Another clip appears to show Marty in Mexico. Then, later in the trailer, Navarro screams at both Marty and Wendy. He’s also seen choking someone while in prison.
So, does Navarro die? It’s unclear from the trailer, but we’re guessing he’ll either die or remain in jail for life. We also suspect that in his absence, which likely seems permanent, Marty will have to run the cartel. And Marty may have to continue running the cartel for the rest of his life in order to keep his family safe.
When do new episodes air on Netflix?
When does Ozark Season 4 Part 2 release on Netflix? According to the trailer, “the final episodes” are available to stream on April 29, 2022. This is the final season of the show, so fans will get their conclusion regarding what happens to the Byrde family.
IndieWire notes a 30-minute special titled “A Farewell to Ozark” accompanies the final episodes. Netflix says the special “explores the genesis of the series, the rich characters we loved and loved to hate, the gripping performances that captivated us, the creatives who made magic behind the camera, and a wealth of memories over the last five years.”
