‘RHOA’: How Much Plastic Surgery Has Kim Zolciak-Biermann Had?
Kim Zolciak-Biermann is one of the most famous reality stars ever to emerge from Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise.
As one of the original housewives on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak–Biermann became immediately popular with viewers for her outrageous, outspoken personality. She has gone on to land her own spinoff series and to appear on a variety of other reality shows as well.
Zolciak-Biermann has incited controversy over the years, not only for her occasional fights with other housewives but also for her apparent love of plastic surgery procedures.
How did Kim Zolciak-Biermann become famous?
Born in Pensacola, Florida in 1978, Kim Zolciak-Biermann (born as Kim Zolciak), moved around a lot as a child and young woman, eventually settling in Atlanta, Georgia. She first gained notoriety in 2008, as one of the stars of the reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
The show chronicled the lives of a group of affluent women living in Atlanta, and Zolciak-Biermann quickly emerged as one of the most entertaining, if not one of the most relatable.
Also in 2008, Zolciak-Biermann started work on a country music album. Although her musical career didn’t go far, it helped the reality star to get even more fans. In 2011, Zolciak-Biermann married football player Kroy Biermann in a highly-publicized wedding ceremony, which was broadcast during the third season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
They have since welcomed four children together, in addition to Zolciak-Biermann’s two daughters, Ariana and Brielle, from a previous relationship. These days, Zolciak-Biermann is the star of her very own reality show, Don’t Be Tardy. The show heavily features Zolciak-Biermann’s family members, including her husband and children.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s plastic surgeries
Like many of the other housewives in the franchise, Kim Zolciak-Biermann is not averse to getting certain surgical enhancements. While there’s no doubt that she looks fabulous for having six children, she certainly has had a bit of help.
In 2016, Zolciak-Biermann sat down for an intimate interview with E! Online, where she revealed that she has had several plastic surgeries over the years, including breast augmentation and hernia surgery.
In spite of the ongoing speculation that she has had a nose job and significant facial reconstruction, Zolciak-Biermann claimed that she has never had work done to her face to that extent, and would be open about it if she had done so.
“I will always nip and tuck if I feel the need to do so, but I’m open about it. I don’t care. You only go around one time, and I especially understand that. And life is very short, so there’s no reason for me to lie,” the reality star said.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann helped her daughter get surgically enhanced
Just as Kim Zolciak-Biermann isn’t averse to getting herself enhanced, she doesn’t really have a problem with her oldest daughters trying different cosmetic procedures.
Although she has stated that she draws the line at plastic surgery for her kids, she has helped her oldest daughter, Brielle Biermann, overcome her insecurities about her lips by taking her to “the best” clinic around to get lip injections when the girl was eighteen years old.
Zolciak-Biermann has received criticism for letting her daughter get lip injections — however, the reality star isn’t fazed by the haters. “People always have something to say. You’re never going to win.”
While there is no doubt that Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s appearance has changed drastically over the years, she has always maintained that she’s been honest with her fans, and more importantly, that she is happy with her appearance.
