Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules received the dubious honor of not only being named “The Worst” during the 2021 Golden Crappie Awards, but he also beat out COVID-19 (coronavirus) for having the worst storyline of 2020.

The star-studded annual Golden Crappie Awards went virtual this year thanks to a pandemic that is apparently not as bad as Taylor. Guests included Captain Lee Rosbach from Below Deck, Lea Black from The Real Housewives of Miami, Andy Cohen, and more.

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix from Vanderpump Rules took over as virtual bartenders. Sandoval concocted some of his “crappiest” drinks and then chugged them. Plus the adorable pair appeared in a new getup each time they were on camera.

Watch What Crappens hosts Ronnie Karam and Ben Mandelker brought their “A” game to the party, keeping the laughs going for the three-hour live event and engaged with the slew of surprise guests throughout the night.

And while Taylor secured nearly every “worst” category, some surprises emerged, including serious fan love for The Real Housewives of New York City.

‘RHONY’ wins in a slew of ‘Best’ categories

Fans sent their love to RHONY this year. For the second year in a row, the series nabbed “Best Show.” However, this year Sonja Morgan won “Best Bravolebrity.” Last year, the honor went to Kate Chastain from Below Deck.

Luann de Lesseps’ pumped up single, “Viva la Diva” took the “Musical Achievement” category. RHONY newcomer Leah McSweeney made her presence known in two categories. McSweeney was named “Best Newbie” receiving a healthy 58% of the vote. Plus she won “Best RHONY Moment.” McSweeney had a few favorite moments, but the ravioli toss took the prize.

Other non-RHONY related favorites included Patricia Altschul from Southern Charm who took “Best Family Member.” And Denise Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills took “Best Quote.” Her delivery of “Bravo, Bravo, f**king Bravo” will go down in Bravo history.

“Best (overall) Bravo Moment” ended up going to The Real Housewives of Potomac. Monique Samuels’ binder of receipts that led to her calling out Gizelle Bryant took the prize.

Jax Taylor may have gotten ‘The Worst’ but not ‘The Grossest’

Taylor took over “The Worst” spot from Ashton Pienaar from Below Deck. Taylor also had the worst storyline of 2020. Beating out COVID, Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding won for “Worst Storyline.” The wedding episodes dragged on (and on and on). Some fans complained about how the wedding took over the season.

Taylor managed to escape the “Grossest Moment.” That honor went to Reza Farahan from Shahs of Sunset. In a heated moment, Farahan called MJ Javid while she was recovering in the ICU after giving birth. He was angry that he didn’t feel she supported him. Then he regrettably said, “Your uterus exploded because you had 10 abortions!”

And while RHONY took “Best Show” Don’t Be Tardy was given the “Worst Show” designation.
