Selling Sunset gives people an inside view of life among some of L.A.’s top real estate agents. The Netflix reality series follows seven female agents at the Oppenheim Group as they try to sell some of the city’s priciest real estate while also dealing with plenty of personal drama.

The glitzy series is the perfect form of escapism for many. Season 2 of the show arrived on the streaming service on May 22, and fans who’ve already blown through all eight episodes are wondering if there’s more to come. They’re especially curious to see what happened when This Is Us star Justin Hartley blindsided his wife and Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause by filing for divorce, events not covered in season 2.

‘Selling Sunset’ Season 3 premieres August 7

There’s good news for fans who can’t get enough of gorgeous L.A. views and office in-fighting. More episodes of Selling Sunset are on the way. Season 3 of the show will premiere August 7, the streaming service announced May 22. That means more of rival agents Stause and Christine Quinn, as well as Heather Rae Young, Mary Fitzgerald, Maya Vander, Davina Potratz, and Amanza Smith. (Plus twin brothers and Oppenheim Group founders Jason and Brett Oppenheim, of course.)

Season 2 of Selling Sunset ended with Fitzgerald’s wedding to her model boyfriend Romain Bonnet, with the happily married couple driving off at the last moments of the final episode. But that wasn’t all. Next up was a surprise teaser for season 3, and it looks like things are going to get super juicy in the upcoming episodes.

The big drama next season will involve Stause’s sudden divorce from Hartley after just over two years of marriage. The couple split in November 2019, but producers decided to save that storyline for season 3. In the teaser, the shocked cast reacts to the news that their friend and co-worker’s marriage was ending. But no one seems more surprised than Stause herself.

“I’m just kind of in shock,” Stause says.

“He just blindsided you?” Fitzgerald asks her friend. A tearful Stause simply nods in reply. “I love him so much,” she says. “This was my best friend.”

While Stause’s marriage is falling apart, another cast member is looking forward to new beginnings. Quinn is getting married to her multimillionaire boyfriend in a glamorous winter wonderland ceremony. But when the big day arrives, Stause seems unable to cope, saying “I don’t want to be here right now.”

In addition, Vander seems ready to ditch the Oppenheim Group and strike out on her own — and possibly bring some of the other ladies with her. And the Oppenheim brothers are fed up with Potratz’s inability to sell an overpriced, $75 million property, telling her they’re going to walk away from the house.

Selling Sunset Seasons 1 and 2 are streaming on Netflix. Season 3 premieres August 7.
