‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Star Tom Holland Would Love to Work With Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield ‘One Day’
Once again, Tom Holland denies that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are in Spider-Man: No Way Home. And if fans can avoid spoilers online before seeing the Marvel Cinematic Universe film in theaters, then they are either going to be very disappointed that the two former Spidey actors aren’t in the movie or very excited because they are. Either way, though, Holland dreams of working with Maguire and Garfield in the future.
Tom Holland discusses his bond with fellow ‘Spider-Man’ actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield
While on the press tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland discussed his relationship with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, who have also played Peter Parker on the big screen, with AP Entertainment.
“We’re friends. We’ve bumped into each other at parties and seen each other out and about,” Holland revealed. “We bumped into Tobey the other day at a restaurant. And we are the only three people to have played this character on the big screen, so there is an affiliation between us. There is a communal bond between the three of us. So whenever we see each other, it does feel like a long-lost brother.”
He added, “I saw Andrew the other day at a party in LA, and I gave him a big cuddle, and it was very nice. I’d love to share the screen with them one day. Unfortunately, I don’t ever think we’ll be able to wear the suits together, but it would be nice to make a film with both of them.”
Even if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield truly aren’t in Spider-Man: No Way Home, then we’re sure fans would still be delighted to see them in a movie together with Tom Holland.
According to Tom Holland, the two former Spideys aren’t in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’
As most MCU fans know, rumors regarding Maguire and Garfield’s return in Spider-Man: No Way Home have run rampant on the internet. Since villains from their respective Spider-Man films are in the movie, many believe that the two former Peter Parkers will team up with Tom Holland’s Peter to stop them.
However, Holland has dismissed the rumor that they are in Spider-Man: No Way Home multiple times. During an interview with GQ, he said, “No one believes me, but they’re not in the film.”
Either Tom Holland has gotten very good at keeping Marvel’s secrets, or Maguire and Garfield don’t appear in the MCU.
